Merry Christmas so I live in Sarasota Florida and I have decided that within the next two months if I don't find a kick ass job bar tending where my tattoos don't matter I am leaving this town. Suggestions ladies and gentlemen where people don't care if you have knuckle tattoos but can serve a good drink THANKS!

I'd want a bartender who knows what (s)he's doing. What difference do tattoos make? The ink's not gonna leak into people's drinks. You've been tending bar for a while, has this always been an issue or is it getting worse now?

I worked at the one company that didn't really seem to care before I , made great money and was with them for 2 years I had to take time off for awhile due to family stuff and didn't know when I would be back and they have no positions open. I have been waiting for 4 months working at other bars but I can't live off what I'm making this town is very conservative unless I work downtown. I have handed out resume and pounded the concrete. Im tired of the well you have to wear long sleeves shit. Im a bartender and I want to sling drinks get people drunk and have a good time.

Ybor city, the castle maybe or any bar in Ybor, but that can be a haul. St. Pete also has some bars. But yeah it's tough when you live in a pretty conservative place.
