I haven't been on the site in a while because our internet went down. I was so sad
So, sorry for not making a blog last week.. But I DID make two the week before so we'll call it even

I'm really happy with this set. I suppose it is better than my last because it already has more comments than my last set and they went up six months apart! Yay me



Moving along..
As you probably expect, it's time to talk about food!!

I know you all probably wonder why I'm not fatter and occasionally (usually somewhere between my second and fifth slice of cake) I do wonder this myself.

Anyway this weekend my sister's boyfriend flew down from Germany to ask my father's permisssion for her hand in marriage. Awwww

To mark said occasion, I had to bake.
Yes, me. Why? because my sister is less domesticated than a playmate, that's why.

I was happy to do it though ,as you all know. I won't go into my usual babble of ingredients and methods ect. If you'd like a recipe, inbox me.
But, when he got here, they had tea. And this is what I made.




Ginger cookies


Butter cookies


Lemon cheesecake


Chocolate cake

It was all very yummy and only lasted a day because I live with vultures.
Moving on..

I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before, but I'm a bit musical. I've recently started making little video's for this site of me playing my pretty piano and singing.
Let me introduce to you my babies..

I play 3 instruments. I wish they were cool instruments like guitar or drums but my parents are very classical..

This is a recorder..


It's like a flute for dummies lol
Very easy to learn.
Actually, when I was in grade 4, it was mandatory in our school to know an instrument so everyone in my grade had to but a recorder.
At the time, I hated it but now I'm really grateful. All schools should add this to their syllabus.

And this is our baby grand piano..


It's very pretty. I've been playing piano since I was 5 and it's the instrument I play the most.

And this little beauty is my favourite..


That's my violin. I've had it since I was 10 but only started using it like last year.
I know, I'm very lazy
It's just such a beautiful instrument but I'm not a very patient learner so being taught how to play it really didn;t appeal to me. i just liked staring at it.
Now I'm self-teaching. Will upload a video sometime

But mostly, I just enjoy singing. There's always some song playing in my head so I'm like a walking jukebox at home. It irritates my siblings to no end
