Hi all,
I've not been to well of late. So have not been interested in doing much more than trying to function on a day to day basis. Hence, no updates.
I realized I have an accidental collection happening. I bought a pair of crazy socks one day and from then on people have been buying me interesting, fun socks for birthday/christmas/whatever gifts. Its kinda like the guy who wore a funny tie to work one day and so everyone gets him novelty ties from that day forth till he dies and then make speeches about his love of novelty ties at his funeral - when it was really just an accident that everyone else adopted as HIS thing for him. HE is the tie guy. I guess my friends call ME the sock girl. Great hey?!
So here is a pic of just a few of my fun socks gifted to me by my fun loving friends.

I hang out for my days off like you wouldn't believe.
I try to fit in as much as possible.
Today was overcast, but very muggy.
I had to go see my specialist, waiting, waiting, waiting.
More waiting. This time for the bus. I need a car.
On the bus.
I hate catching the bus. So many odd people. Actually, when I think about it. Catching the bus is kinda interesting. People watching is fun. Its just that in general people smell funny on busses. I can't stand bad smells.
I went shopping for tools. I ended up buying them online anyway.
I'm in the middle of renovating my flat. So went shopping for a shower. I can't make up my mind as to what I want. Hmmm, too many choices.
I saw this and thought it was cute.
I saw this and thought it was creepy. One kids shoe on the side of the road........creepy and eery.
I got a new pair of sunglasses to add to my collection.
I find it funny that I'm 32 and still dressing up. Will I ever grow up. I sure hope not 
All in all I had a good day. Had a few let downs. But it was better than being at work.
Tell me something that creeps you out? Like me with that shoe on the road.
Watching people put contact lenses in also creeps me out.

Tropical cyclone Hamish is wreaking havoc in Northern Queensland. As a result we in northern NSW are suffering the backdraft. My shop is leaking. Buckets are my friend. I love buckets!
Dinner of Passion Pop and pizza with some new Chinese students. Yes people I said Passion Pop!
Sitting at the computer at the end of the evening almost ready for bed.

I am so over people.
Working in the customer service industry is driving me mad.
I'm not a very chipper person at the best of times. So having to smile at every person who walks in the door all day and seem interested in them, their day, life, wants, needs, health issues, family, bowl movements and whatever else flits around in their inane little heads is maddening.
I'd love to go sit on a mountain or a beach or in a field all by myself for a couple of weeks. Not seeing a person. Not saying a word. Just breathing, sleeping, waking, walking, looking, touching, being me, being with me and not being obligated to anyone or anything.
'Sigh'

I'm having a job interview tomorrow. I don't really want the job, nor do I really need it. I'm kinda going for it just so that if I do get it I can decide whether or not I want to tell them to shove it up their clacker OR take the pay rise and run with it.
