Medical Follow-Up [Human and Pup]
Disappointment is not a strong enough word. I have to go back next Friday to get my birth control implant removed. Long story short and without all the [my] whining it is policy and procedure. Once it is removed, I know I have several weeks of "detoxing" to rid my system of the toxics. I am excited about this new chapter in my story.
The pups had a veterinary appointment for their bi-yearly comprehensive exam. They were a few months late since we have been without a car and I am far too proud to ask for rides but I was not really worried about it. Then I received the call, Sara has a UTI. My usual free comprehensive exam turned into a bit of a stress ball as I had to come up with roughly $120. This was not an easy feat but the babies are taken care of and that is one of my top priorities.
Now for the good news... I finally have new glasses after, oh, six years! Thanks to United Healthcare.

I really have to stop trying to plan things. It's simply another case of "anything that can go wrong, will go wrong." Maybe it's time I start looking into a second job? Or I could start selling sex, that seems to be a good plan in this town.

So I'm slowly planning a vaca/birthday thing for myself to spend some time in Southern California. Disneyland, food adventres, and a trip to the beach or two. I found a cheap flight into LAX, I should hopefully be purchasing it this payday or next. Right now I'm looking into hotels. :/ Anyone want to let me and a friend (or two) crash on your couch/floor for several days? The dates are sometime between July 17th and 24th.
Let's see if I can remember how to write a real blog.
My lease is up the end of next month. I thought I was going to rent a house and finally have a yard for my pups. That isn't going to happen... I'm staying in my current apartment for another year. Hopefully during that time I will be able to save so that I can rent a house the following year.
I think I have finally gotten caught up on many bills however something new always comes up. Right now the current issue is getting my mother's car fixed. I'm terrified that if we can't get the money together to have it fixed, she'll quit her job and leave me with 100% of all the bills. Truthfully that wouldn't be all that different from how it currently is but even the small amount she chips in, is better than nothing. Currently I still need to find $400 by Saturday. Wish me luck.
Now that I have the pups wellness plans caught up I need to find a way to get them into the vet for shots and off to the groomers for baths. Maybe I will speak with my grandparents this weekend about taking them in for me.
Does anyone here do the whole order your groceries for delivery thing? I'm seriously thinking about doing this since a) we are currently without a working car and b) there are no good grocery stores within walking distance of my apartment.
I finally got a little bit of time to work on my other blog. It's still kind of a mess and has no real entries but I'm working on some things so hopefully soon it'll be up and running. Oh I'm not sure I told you, I decided that it wouldn't be solely based on baking and cooking. Instead I'm going to make it a blog, blog but with inserts on baking, cooking, product reviews, giveaways, and guest bloggers once it's up and running. Except a lot of pup related entries. Making it less focused will allow me more time to actually update. I have having difficulties with trying to only write food related blogs. I got bored, didn't really want to share recipes, and hated the pictures I was taking.
With all this nonsense I do have a bit of exciting news... I'm going to get to meet and hang out with Riversong soon! I had all these fears and what ifs and possible wonderful things typed out but I didn't want to scare or give the wrong impression so I'll just leave it at this, I'm looking forward to meeting someone I seem to have a lot in common with.

Taken isn't doing as well as I had hoped but that's okay. Really... most of my sets haven't done as well as I thought they would. I truly thought Friends with Benefits would go front page. Shotgun and I look amazing together! Without any connection to my bit of whining here I won't be shooting anything new for the site for awhile. Truthfully I've fallen into a slump... or maybe I've been here for awhile and I'm only noticing now because it's gotten worse... either way I have become unhappy with my body. Until I can get the motivation to actually do something about it there will be nothing new from me.
