Don't let people get to you. Enjoy some time off from work. Maybe just go to a state park or some place close.

I didn't mean to imply anything as simple. I suggested a park because they are inexpensive and easily accessible. And usually peaceful.

That stinks. Hopefully you can find some way to enjoy it. I also haven't had a real vacation in a long time.
