It's sad for me to know that you don't feel safe where you are at. I like the advice already given about finding a local shelter. I'm sure there is a way to be safe even before you move back to Vegas.

Regarding holiday movies, I knew what you meant. It seems the made for TV movies are worse. The families are either so perfect and happy. Or everything turns out alright and cherry in the end no matter what the circumstances. I don't remember a time, even as a kid, I felt cheery on Christmas day. And I'm not a depressed or dramatic person, and I love the holiday season. Weird.
