into: Women and metalsmithing.
makes me happy: My cat, being in my studio, art, art, art, art, art, estuaries, ambiguity, a cold cold beach, symbiotic relationships, being with my sisters, ghost stories, skiing on a brisk morning, books piled everywhere so that you can't barely make it to the next room, gathering and harvesting. I recently started making my own wine and really have loved every second of it. Collecting everything and anything I can find on a shore that's not completely decomposing, big houses, drawn out process', staying in bed until someone brings me my coffee, horticulture, androgeny, Natural History Museums, Joe, using my hands, a good lover, human hair, cooking for anyone and everyone I love, bone structure, metal, metalsmithing, head shrinking, anthropology, cell biology, marine biology, psychology, paleontology, archeology, astrology, geology...let's just say science and studies. I enjoy themes of taxonomy, good conversations, hidden conversations, a sharp jaw line, Prarie Home Companion and Fresh Air, blood, any body of water I can lose myself in for a second, a person who knows how to tell a story, This American Life, Anais Nin Erotica, storm fronts, antique stores, canines, mermaids and monsters, engraving anything you'll let me, the process of mummification, Renaissance Cabinets of curiosities, the sound of an old record just getting started, etc.
makes me sad: The fact that I'll never be able to read all the books in the world before I die.
hobbies: Self preservation and expanding my ever growing collection of natural oddities. I also read. A lot.
