Nuit Blanche...

was hilarious.

I did not find Lemonkid, despite constant attempts. Seemed I was like 15 minutes behind him, wherever he went.
Strangely, I ran into almost no one that I knew...

I did get pictures some funny pictures, but I'm not in them! Neither is anything actually Nuit-Blanche related... Just some antics.

Started somewhere @ Place-Des-Arts... There was this big light/sound show of some kind that involved calling random numbers and it changed things... I really didn't have any clue WTF it was but it was kinda nifty... Went to BELGO to see some art... My friend and I convinced a chick working to let us have beer in big to-go cups... Bwahahaha...

While seeking an open entrance to the metro, found a bunch of art installations, something with a pig, light bright chairs, a train accident or something (eek? I didn't like that one), and then a collaborative public drawing project! It was maybe 8 or 10 feet high, and pretty long, big white panels drawn on with black markers... You bet yer asses I drew tons of little monsters on it.

Ended up getting to Le Rockette, a bar on the plateau, where ToriGaelle and others were. This turned into many drinks, some not-too-serious dancing, some random girl grabbing my ass with BOTH HANDS (I have to wonder if she mistook me for someone she knew because... seriously?!), and me telling girls in line at the unisex bathroom that I was going to use a urinal. They were both mystified and appalled by this idea, and in the end, there was a really sketchy dude there so I decided to not be disgusting and skip the urinal idea Oh, how I amuse myself.

The beginning and end of my night shall remain mine to know and yours to ponder...

Trying to finish lots of schoolwork and feeling swamped. Perhaps should spend less time indulging in the delights of urban living and more time sleeping, focusing, etc... but I feel like I just can not COMMIT to school. I get "sick." I can't sleep. Or I finally sleep and then I'm asleep for far too long... My mind is elsewhere and school is not my priority, although I try desperately for it to be...

I've got to just get through! In December, I'll be done. If I don't fuck up, I'll be able to get a fairly open permit to stay in Canada for several years... This is what I want. This is my goal. This is why I'm here. This is what I'm working toward... not really my degree but freedom to roam... to expand my world...
