Blahblahblah.

I like Christmas. I'm not into all the mindless consumerism that accompanies it, but I do really like getting/making people I love a few special things.

I'm going home for a few days. My cat is staying with a friend... I am sad about this.
I can't wait to see my brothers... And _Aeryn_!!! I miss her way, way too much.

I've got a little bit of shopping/crafting to do before I head south o' the border...

I've been working on a lot of things... have an idea for a possible project... in need of some excitement.... inner conflicts rage on... I am, as usual, in a strange place...

you have got it so right - I really enjoy the getting/making loved ones a few special things, but feel kinda sick when i see people trawling the shops mindlessly buying bags and bags of sweat shop made stuff

aw your little kitty, she'll be ok. we're able to take stevie pup with us this year for the first time to visit my mans family (she usually stays with my parents) and its such a relief, coz she is notorious for getting into mischief!!!

consumerism is not the idea, wrong
but giving little presents to loved ones think it's cute, it hurts a lot of people do not see so ......

I love Christmas. I've always believed that instead of complaining about the way the world is, we should make such events into what we want them to be. Take the things we like and enjoy them to the hilt, and simply discard the rest.
