I need to keep myself distracted today. I don't want to leave such a raincloud hanging in my blog (as if it really matters, hey?) so I shall post some silliness.

FIRST though... thank all you guys for your kind words. I got a private messages and texts from multiple people, as well as posts on here. I greatly appreciate the time people have taken from their days to wish well to my family and to me. It hasn't been an easy road (as many of you already know), but each day, my heart is feeling a little lighter. Thanks and thanks, and thanks again. (StCyr's response almost made me cry, but in a good way... god, I was a mess this morning!!)

Tomorrow, the lovely Sicilia and I will be making a brief guest appearance as little hostesses, so to speak, at some Oktoberfest event, somewhere in this city. I was planning on going to see a show with Shaine, but school eats our lives (ughhh). Work came up, my horoscope said grab any random opportunities, sooo, fine!

My horoscope also claims I should not be overly optimistic. About what? I do not know. Why so negative, pisces-stars? I'll be as damn optimistic as I please!

I'm really wrecked today, so I'm only going to work a couple hours, and my boss is finishing the night. I greatly appreciate it. Usually, when I work with him, we give each other endless shit (jokingly!), but tonight, I will be on my very good behavior, no pain in the ass from me... I just need to get back home to chill out, drink tea, listen to music, hopefully talk with some friends (always makes me happy!), and get to bed at some reasonable hour.

I've been reading a lot of old writing. It is amazing how much I have... grown? That sounds so stupid. But you know.

Shooting a new set next Monday (I think.. should confirm this... it is gonna be hot! Way spicier than the last 2 sets I shot)

Seeing my family at the end of October
figuring out how to really use twitter from my phone

Some things I would really like to do soon:
go to the movies and not fall asleep (bahahah)
drink sake and dance in the dark in the living room. Maybe I will do this alone.
have dinner out with 2 of my girlfriends *cough cough*sicilia and oro *cough cough*
Change my hair color a bit

Some things I would like to get better at
Managing my school stuff, timewise.
Being suave. I am not suave.
Being subtle. I am also not subtle.
I would like to not send people mixed signals. Apparently I do this. That sounds unfortunate.
Accepting compliments. Why is it so hard to just say "thanks" without feeling like a douche-sicle?
Inventing words. Douche-sicle is a really moronic word. WTF.
