My last entry was very short and got some very funny responses.

I'm working on a massive paper about national/cultural identity and am quite intrigued by my findings.
I won't share any of the information until the paper's done, and all names remain confidential anyway, but how's this for interesting...
Every single person I interviewed (US or Canadian citizens who are "completely" Italian, meaning both parents are of entirely Italian heritage, although it doesn't matter what country the parents, grand-parents etc were born in) would pull for Italia in international sports - like the World Cup - and the US/Canadian teams were secondary, if they even cared at all.
That's totally not the point of my paper, but I asked about it anyway. LOL.
Funny because I too am going for Italia


I just ate like 8 savoiardi. I only have them like once a year because I wolf them down like a mad woman.

I've lost weight recently without meaning to (story of my life!), so I now have an excuse to make biscotti after I finish my paper..chocolate and orange. Yea, I'm on a cookie kick today.
