Had a great birthday weekend... Friday night I went out with some lady friends, including Rubix and Pumpkin, as well as lotsa girls you don't know, most of my best ladies showed up, and some really had to take quite a trek to get there Went to a pub and drank the most inconsistent vodka-sodas of my life... Had lots of laughs, once a lot of the girls left, my friend's boyfriend and his friends showed up and gave us even more laughs... Called it a night at not-too-scary-of-an-hour...

Saturday I signed the lease at my new apartment. I really like it and hope that everything goes smoothly upon move in. It's a 3 1/2-- nice bedroom, big living room, kitchen with room for a table, sliding glass doors onto the balcony, tiled bathroom, shiny hardwood floors.
...Then I drank some chocolate milk (yum...) and went to work. It was dead all day and then SLAMMED for the boxing event at night. It was crazy busy, really, and one of my bosses ended up bartending with me most of the night, and he kicked ass, totally easy to navigate around. At about 11:30 or something the other girl showed up to work and she stayed on the floor clearing and taking orders and I don't think anyone waited more than a few minutes for a drink... Amazing team that night.... I ended up working 2 extra hours because it was so busy...

Oh, and at midnight, when it turned to my birthday, the whole friggin place humiliated me by singing happy birthday in the middle of the boxing match. AGHHHHHH. I had also gotten flowers at work earlier in the day... jeez!

THEN... It was my temporary roommate's birthday (she's also my coworker) and the bosses had bought us a tiramisu-cake (sweet) and one of our other coworkers was assembling the 2 cakes that I had made (but not frosted-- no time!)... THe pictures are hilarious... I was going to write happy birthday on the cake but was so exhausted and stupid, I couldn't decide what to write so I wrote "Dom, Thanks" on the cake (he was the one icing the cake... So ! That was fun! Then Sunday was really just a chill out day-- went back to work to do the cash out from the night before (they demanded I party! so i went back) which was a breeze, and just chilled out, went for a drive, watched a movie, ate chocolate cookies all day because it was actually my birthday...

And yesterday the weather was SO GORGEOUS.
