I have had a freaking HORRIBLE December!
Sprained ankle, cracked nose, sick as a dog with 60 hr work weeks...
I'm ready for it to be 2013!



But, make my day and go share some love to Rielle, the nerdiest hottie I know! I got to play with a sailor moon wand in the back seat on the way to shooting this set on the beach! Any girl with a sailormoon want in her car? Yeah, I love her.

We nearly lost all our stuff, the tides were rising so quickly! I had to battle the ocean knocking me around with my precious camera, and try and support my own ligthing stands, WHILE SHOOTING... It was crazy! The waves were so hard, we were both knocked around a ton!
She kept getting knocked off the rocks! Rielle's ability to pose, and regain her footing was fantastic! There was a lot of laughing...

And by the end, there was a HUGE audience on land that applauded us as we waded back in! Apparently, we were a great show to watch! Hahahaha! What a day!

My life is crazy.

There are ups, and there are downs.

I'm feeling a little down today, so to distract myself from that I'm going to actually write an update here, and load it with pictures because I love pictures... and talk about all the good things going on in my life, to remind myself of how really awesome I have it.

I moved to Vancouver in September. THIS IS RAD. I've been waiting to move here for three years, because everyone I love other than a very few select people are clustered in this beautiful, temperate region. I'm very excited to be living here, with the beautiful green moss and mists in the early morning!

I love the culture of Vancouver. It's so diverse and beautiful, and open minded and full of culture! I got to volunteer at a Haunter House this last halloween, which was epic. I got to do a bunch of painting and muraled a room into a cracked marble scape. I also volunteer'd to be IN the production, because it wasn't just a scary haunted house it was a performance house. The entire Tour took you through an hour long adventure into the land of Faerie, and you met Gnomes, nymphs, dryads, witches, dark faeries, orgre's, the Icequeen, and the King and Queen of Faerie.

I got to be in the court room scene with the king and queen, as a nightmare. It was wicked fun! We ended up on a ledge five feet off the ground, buit into a fake wall. So everyone during the scene thought we stayed up there in the alcove, but at one point we jump down and start dancing and creeping around the audience. It was AMAZING fun, and I loved being a nightmare. I also did a lot of make up, and photography for the event. Even though I had only been volunteering, I ended up being paid for it which made me feel even more awesome

I have a potential mural job lined up for spring, the company confirmed in a phone call but I need to get together with them to sign the paper work, which I am stoked for. It's going to be a big job, and I'm hoping to actually get started as my own business here soon. I'm going to talk to a career services place about the Self Employment program, and getting on with becoming a photographer and muralist. This next year holds all new wonders. Here's the wall for the Haunted house!



I've also started crafting, and hope to do markets and stuff with my wares come spring! I've always been a jewelry maker and painter, but I also started making hair clips! This is a christmas craft market me and Minxington did, there wasnt enough foot traffic but it was still a fun weekend!






OH! I also got my tattoo worked on, got the blue all redone and now just some touch ups in the oranges and reds! So stoked, it looks fantastic! Minxington is one absolutely rad tattoo artist!

My fingers are crossed that SG will be announcing doing the Vancouver Taboo Sex show here soon...so that me and all the wonderful girls can have a meet up and meet all of the wonderful SGBC community!

Does anyone have any free, or rather inexpensive awesome things to do around the Vancouver area? I'm rather poor, but I'd really love to get out a little more!

And now, have some boobs, in celebration for some weight I managed to loose And because boobs rock.

I now live in Vancouver, and I am ECSTATIC to be here!

A lot in life goes up and down..

On the down side, my work is so stressful lately that I don't sleep... So that's really a downer. I love my job, and what I do... but it still is super high stress and thats causing quite a lot of tension in the rest of my life.

On the bright side, New Mac' due to the fact my HP broke down for the fifth time, and they replaced it. I didnt want the new one, I'd have enough with my last broken piece of HP goza for a life time...so I sold it as soon as it arrived, and got a mac book instead. With my new D90 I got for christmas, the two are unbelievable together. They are amazing. I've been shooting just constantly all weekend, and all this week. The way this thing processes it eats my raw data and spits out gold photo's! I just need to invest more in lighting now... Photography is a never ending sieve for your money... but I love it, I love it so much! I miss the Silliness people, but I usually just go lurk about and rarely post. I don't know why.

My dog is also amazing now. Her training has come so far from when we got her last christmas. She was a mental wreck, chewed everything, screamed and howled when left alone, would soil her crate and roll around in it with terrible anxiety... Thats come so far now! She's way better, her anxiety is way better and she loves her crate now, she's learned tons of tricks... She's turned into such a sweetie and everyone loves her. Makes me very happy!

On the downside, since some rather emotionally devestating events happened in the last year, I've gained a lot of weight that I'm not very happy about. I'll be starting training tommorrow, which is fabulos, and I'll be getting in shape to prepare to start Pro Wrestling again in the fall when I move to Vancouver. I'm excited to really focus on health and getting into shape, I hope it helps relieve some of the stress from work. I'm a rather hands on person, and I really miss wrestling and having an avenue to let off physical steam.

Slight pause on everything right now...

Illness, death in the family, and a few other tid bits of crap...

On the bright side, awesomeness is still coming...

Thanks to everyone who gave me condolances on my stolen Iphone... It's memory will be cherished, and live on in the hole in my wallet that was put there replacing it.

In the mean time... *Thunks head into a wall, lather, rinse, repeat.* Life is going topsy turny... Things I've been looking forward to look like they're slipping away.

And to finish off, on a lighter less life is tragic load of crap... go see Scott Pilgrim!!! It makes me immensely happy. I saw it twice. I will see it again... and again...
