Life is great. Work is good. School is great. We're down to that crazy time of the semester when the work is piling high and it's time to start studying for finals! Eeeeeeee! I read an amazing book, Outliers by Malcom Gladwell. I highly recommend it! I miss LA =( But, I love my college here. I spend all of my time at school, the gym and work, in that order. I may be drinking a little too much caffeine lately. It's cold here. I can't wait for summer. I'm bummed I'm missing Cochella this year! I hope everyone is well. Be grateful, Be great. <3

I'm back in Humboldt County. So much easier and cheaper to live and go to school here. I'm majoring in Zoology. I go full time. It's ALOT. But I love school. I was just asked to be an English tutor! yay! So that will be fun next semester. Ok pic tyme....

What documentary am I thinking of? The title is one word. It films these amazing people, like the jumping tribe, the tribe that sits in rows on the earth covered in mud and makes these crazy "ducka duck ducka" sounds while moving in unison making strange hand gestures back and forth and theres the guys that look like the Pope all spinning in circles together??

This happened tonight....

After constantly ragging on my friend Del for drinking tap water while I drink my alkaline, reverse osmosis water and tell him how good it is, he tells me there is no difference. So he invited me over tonight for a blind folded taste test of five different water brands. I correctly identified what was tap, store crap, icky britta and my fav alkaline r.o., with the half exception of not being sure about the Smart Water, I said "I dunno it might be tap" Anyway I think it's probably close to tap but maybe one step carbon filtered plus electrolytes.. Go me! Is he a now a believer?

Halloween was good.

Anyhoo.....

A couple things...

I saw Temper Trap and Delphic downtown on Saturday. Nice. It was interesting to watch the lead singer of Temper Trap in action. I had been listening to their music for quite sometime but had never seen them until I looked them up on you tube the night before the show. I was surprised! He doesn't look like his voice, whatever that means. But I was really impressed with Delphic. The night I saw them was the first time I had even heard of them. I would describe them as LCD Sound System's little brother.

Today I had delicious Golden "Shrimp" Wontons from The Vegan Joint. yessss
Then for dinner I had the Club Sandwich and Ceaser Salad at Real Food Daily The friend who accompanied me is not a vegetarian, let alone Vegan. On top of that...he has baby taste buds. His taste buds are afraid to try new things. His taste buds do not like any kind of white sauce, be it mayo, Alfredo or tahini. His baby taste buds do not like eggs on toast or ketchup on fries. He ordered the TV dinner. Which is a heaping pile of Seitan "meatloaf", mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. He ate THE WHOLE THING. Except for the carrots in the steamed veggie mix (!?!?) He loved it. And then... he ate half of my club sandwich and some of my salad! He's officially a believer. Not that I ever, ever....ever. expect him to give up animal products. But he is now a believer that amazing delicious meals can be made with 100% no animal involvement.

An Den....

I shot a set with sawa today in this awesome porn studio in the valley (yay! I haven't done a set since like 1998!). There were all sorts of sets in there such as a candy store, a hotel room, a punk rock den, a locker room and a jail cell (which you'll be able to check out soon ) When Sawa and I were checking out the "Candy Shop" to see if we might want to use it her friend who runs the studio piped up "Just so you know you can eat the candy if you want to. Anything that's been in somebodies butt or vag I've thrown away. Including the lollipop was up a trannies butt last night" *LMAO*

Also met Katrina again, who I met like 3 years ago at a party in San Fransisco! She also will be having a super hot set cumming out soon

On another note.....
Muppet Baby had her first visit to the groomers. She will no longer be known as Muppet Baby. She will now be called Gretchen (until her hair grows out) .




A couple weeks ago I ran across Regan's blog and saw a picture of these amazing glasses that she bought!

They were so amazing that I had to buy them for a friend for x-mas. But then when they arrived they were so amazing that I accidentally took them out of the package, washed them and drank wine out of them with Taye

But then I drank too much and I felt like this all day today

BUT THEN!!!....

Hey there!
My last update was right after Cochella so it's been awhile... I'm still loving LA and can't imagine living anywhere else. I've seen some good music lately. This last Friday I saw Sleigh Bells, Hot Chip and LCD, my first Hollywood Bowl show! I saw Kele at the Fonda which was great. My favorite show lately was Empire of the Sun which was also at the Fonda. Everybody was calling him Lady GuyGuy cause he was such a drama queen, in a rockin way of course.

I went to Humboldt County last week to visit the family. It was great to see everybody and it's 100% gorgeous but visiting made me so glad that I do not live there! There's NO nightlife, good restaurants are limited, there is absolutely nowhere to shop and the people are a little stunted.


And Finally... What Humboldt County is best known for... ( I took this with my cell phone)


My little apartment is looking cuter than ever!! I LOVE it! My best little decorating job yet. I'm kickin ass at the gym and eating healthier than ever, which makes all other aspects of life that much better.
My cute lil pups Muppet Baby and Frida are great and the loves of my life of course. I wish I could freeze them in time. I can hardly stand the thought of them getting old.




The boy made an awesome video of them for me! He really captured their essence...


I'll be done with the esthetician program in just 40 hours! whoop! Then I'll need to start building clientele and probably cut out a couple days of bartending to work at a salon. I *LOVE* doing eyebrows and I will specialize in just that!

I went to Lake Arrowhead again for a couple days of relaxation, boating and champagne with good friends. My favorite part of the whole trip is how Muppet Baby looks when she is wet! Nightmares! hahaha


I've been to some amazinggggg swingers parties lately. I can not even begin to describe the madness that ensues. I met BellaDonna! yay!
And I randomly met Sasha Grey, we had a short conversation, she seems delightful.

I'm diggin on Die Antwoord quite a bit....

And revisiting some of my old faves like Ani, Air, RJD2....

And recently have fallen in love with The National

Ok time for a major update! Do you even remember me SG? I'been a busy mamasita! I'm still workin alot..still going to school, but I am making alot more time to play then I was! Life in LA just keeps getting better and better for me! I have some great people in my life, I'm doing fun things and going fun places! Blessed!
