listened to a live performance of "the pale king" by david foster wallace on NPR. It was amazing, but not very uplifting (to say the least). I was listening on my way home from my stint at the library. I imagine that the book is some what of a hard read but listening to it preformed live was great! It's defiantly true literature. (as I see it)

Can't write now school is crazy...started June 20th and finals are on July 15th. It's like cramming with out all the fun procrastination!

going school book and supplies shopping. How exciting! Starting school on Monday and I'm nervous but very excited. Decided to go in the PhD direction and do what I can to try to get in to Tulane ...not that I could afford it lol.

My stuff is supposed to be in country tomorrow so soon my life will be reaching so kind of semi-stable state.

The X's birthday is today and that's rough. Miss him still. Oh well, (insert cliche' statement here.)

Picked up my car in Seattle. They left the battery hooked up for the whole trip so it was fried and I had to buy a new one. They are so damn pricey.

other than that, and sleeping in the trunk because I couldn't afford a hotel, it was a great trip. he he he
I was going to try to make it over to Paizo Con but their link was broken and i couldn't buy tickets rrrrggg. I did make it over to the waterfront and Pikes market. Love the vibe there. Even found a place with doner kebab!

typed up my character history for the Warhammer campaign I'm going to be playing with my roommate and a couple that I met through the scifi meetup group (and hopefully more ppl)

here's the info I chose for my character. should be fun!

"My character's name is Huzzah . He's a halfling male. His father was a healer and so on, going way back into the generations. He knows as much about medicine as anyone would if they were wholly uninterested in the constant lectures throughout childhood. Being the 3rd child of 8 (all females except him), he figured there were enough doctors and could use his knowledge of herbs to make paints and inks instead. Although he had great, skill he didn't make it as an artist, because his people aren't much for culture they can't eat. He decides to use his artistic skill to become a forger. Now he feels that creating false documents, relics, signatures, and coin; is a form of artwork unto its self. Literally making most of his money, he techs off on his way to the larger cities of the Empire to hone his forgery skills with the great masters."

It's almost June! June is going to be a good month.
Our CSA (community supported agriculture) starts June first.
My zoom zoom Mazda arrives in the US on the 15th.
The movers should be arriving with my household goods around the middle of the month.
Best of all, My first semester as a Pre-Med student starts on the 20th!

Digg my new job working for UPS. Typical job issues though, not enough hours, cheap boss, and not getting payed what I'm worth to the company. All in all though I'm pretty happy with the way that life is going. I'm going to talk to the advisors at the school and see what they have to say about getting me into classes during the summer quarter. I need to stop putting off talking to the school, grow a pair, and just figure out this kerfuffle they call university jargon.

my goal for this month, is to not care if I look/ sound like, an idiot.

Anyone know if SG is doing a booth at PAX this year?? I'm sure that I could find out, I'm just too lazy right now. It would be the height of AWESOME to be a booth babe. Either way I'm going to PAX and I'm thinking that I'm going to go with Cammy or (if I can find some way to afford it) making my own steam-punk outfit.

FINALLY GOT TO PLAY DRAGON AGE II!! took me long enough! my roommate figured out how to hook it up to his tiny little TV, so I can barely read the text. even so I'm thrilled that I don't have to wait until my TV and what not get's here to play it. By then I could have bought it used for half the price lol.

well time to pay the rent and go to the gym, this ass isn't going to tighten its self!
