I've been chosen as one of the technology editors for SG's new news wire.

I'm incredibly excited.

Go and check it out. Submit some news stories. Ask the advice of a Suicide Girl and more. Well, maybe not more... that's probably about it actually.

And now... this:

An interesting activity. Try it when no one is in the room, though, you fucking weirdo.

While sitting in your chair, lift your right foot slightly off the ground and move it in clockwise circles. Now draw the numeral "6" in the air with your right hand. Your foot will involuntarily reverse direction.

My new set is up.

Wow, it's been a long time.

I bought my wonderful photographer a membership not too long ago... everyone should go say hi.

His name is XRedDan and he is a rockstar. wink

Do it.

Now.

Stop reading this.

I am feeling better, after an injection and some strong medication. I didn't want anyone to think I was dead. Or a zombie. Since I revealed that I was ill, and then failed to update my journal until this evening.

Happy new year to everyone.

P.S. I wish I were a zombie, though. That would rock.

I haven't been online in a while.

I have a kidney infection, which is not as fun as it sounds.

And it doesn't exactly sound fun, does it?

I've spent the last week sleeping and watching t.v.

T.v. is for morons.

This is what I've learned.

I was just rocking out to Broken Wings by Mister Mister, when my brother walked into the room. (My brother never walks into my room.)

In a completely monotone voice, he said:

"I'm pretty sure it's not 1986 anymore."

Then he walked out.

The wind outside is relentless.

There is a severe advisory in effect.

A bird's tiny body was blown into my bedroom window earlier with an unsettling thud. And the wind chime hanging on our porch, that I had never even noticed before, can be heard throughout the entire house.

If my front lawn were a movie setting, tonight would be the night to shoot the scene where the decaying dead rise from their graves and tediously walk the earth again. Or the scene in which the aliens land their spaceship in the suburbs and explore their surroundings, laser guns drawn, unsure of what to think of our planet.

Tonight is an eerie night.

My mom always used to say,

"If you don't like it. Leave."

My mom is an intelligent woman.

People can be so immature sometimes.

It is, in fact, my twenty-first birthday.

It took me ten minutes to figure out how to find this page, in order to update my journal.

[vader voice] I find your lack of borders disturbing. [/vader voice]

I'm going to give this new layout a couple of days. Then we'll discuss further.

My 21st birthday is coming up really soon. I don't think I'm getting anything. From anyone. Maybe I'm wrong? I never have good birthdays, so even if there is a lack of presents, I'm hoping the festivities will be a good time. I'll probably end up in a ambulance or something. Fucking.birthday.curse.

In other news, life has been up and down lately.

"I think I might need medication to feel o.k.

If I had insurance, I would look up a doctor in the yellow pages. One that could prescribe me something strong. So that I would be out of it enough to put on thrift store prom dresses, lay on the floor, and count the ceiling tiles. And that's all I would do. All day. And all night."

(Sometimes I like to quote myself.)
