In a few hours I'll be 21 years old.

Yep.

Feb. 6th - 6:09 a.m.

Well, I'm 21 now. Exciting, huh? I'm going to my very first 21+ show on friday, ha ha... wow that sounded lame.

I've got good and bad stuff to update about but I'll save it for another time. Well, let me just say that I'm pissed at my ipod. I think I need to take it in or something, it's being retarded. I'll do that after I get my license renewed today... which I'm REALLY looking forward to, actually. I'm so fucking sick of that picture of me from when I was 16 and trying to get my Misfits shirt to show up in the frame. It didn't. I just look retarded. Suprise, suprise.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes so far, and an EXTRA super duper big thank you to the ever so amazing derceto for getting me such a lovely gift:

Gotta get ready to go to work and then other responsible things! Wait... responsible? On your 21st birthday?!

kiss

Update AGAIN! Feb. 6th - 1:47 pm

This birthday is turning out to be way better than I expected! I thought I was going to have to at the very least take my ipod in to get it tweaked, but I reset it and all is now fine. Got to work and there were fucking flowers for me and we just had cake and everyone sang Happy Birthday... and if THAT wasn't enough they got me a gift!

I couldn't beleive these people bought me booze. I even told them I don't drink much (which I'm trying not to, it's part of my resolution) but they still got me all this. They also got me balloons, yadda yadda... jeez, all of this was so unexpected! Very thoughtful of all of them. I almost feel bad about having to leave early to get my license renewed

Hi there!

I hope everyone had a nice little holiday run. Mine was alright, christmas I can't complain about as I made out like a muthafuckin' BANDIT! In addition to the fucload of awesome cd's, books, gift cards I got, I also got a digital camera: Olympus FE-190, a shit ton of cash, some of which I put towards my very first ipod (that I LOVE!), and as if that isn't awesome enough, my foster parents got me plane tickets to Cali for a late February trip love.
New Years was a fucking NIGHTMARE but I'm not going to get into it... partially because I really don't remember what happened, but maybe that's best.

My friend Tom and I went to go see the Body Worlds II exhibit at the Museum of Science last weekend and it RULED! It's closed now, but to all of you in the area... I really hope you got to see it! And to those of you who will have it in your area soon... go see it! It's fucking amazing! I've waited for years for this to come to Boston, ever since I first heard of it. Amazing stuff! Tom is a photographer and he actually had his camera on him throughout the exhibit... but it was said that pictures weren't allowed so he didn't take any. What a shame!
We shot some stuff here and there, it was fun, it was cold, it was snowing... finally. No, I don't like the snow but I don't like global warming, either and it's not supposed to be fucking 60 degrees in January!

February is going to rule for a number of reasons! Shows, trips, shoots, MY BIRTHDAY! After New Years I've decieded to cut down on drinking, though, so maybe not as ridiculous a get together as I had in mind... but I'll still be glad to be over that little hill.

I've been kind of obsessing over that whole Dick in a Box thing since I first saw it this weekend. Genius! Who knew Justin Timberlake could be so humorous? Aside from things related to his music career, that is. Another YouTube find that left me almost as awestruck...

Hooray!

Sorry to all you Trivium fans, but... DEATH TO FALSE METAL!!!
BAH ha ha ha! Best thing I've read all fucking week!
Keeping with Trivium (wait, I'm going somewhere with this...) there have been a myriad of interpretations of their songs on youtube. This one is the first one I saw and is still, in my opinion, the best of them.

Happy Holidays!

... sometimes I'm ridiculous and spend all the live long day in front of the computer, unbathed, and eating blueberry chocolates like it ain't no thing... thang, sorry!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I went to the aquarium yesterday. It was reletively uneventful but entertaining, none the less. I was dissapointed that they no longer have the otters there as I was hoping something like this might happen.
After that I went with some friends to one of my favorite eateries and then bought a pair of somethings I've been wanting for quite some time...

Amazing much?! YEAH!
These are my only pair of slip ons, mind you. I'm usually not a fan but how can you not love these?! Fuckin' MOTORHEAD!!!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I think eating like a jackass is starting to catch up with me. I'm slowly noticing the fattening of my little tummy and the thickening of my little arms. Granted I've been going a bit crazy with yummy things lately, even more than usual! I'll try to cut back to my normal intake of yummy bad stuff... which is still way more than one should consume. Ha ha... oh, I'm a loser blackeyed

*prepares to go to Dunkin's*

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've started the slow process of stretching my ear lobes. I'm at a mere 14g at the moment, but thats jumped up from piercings done with a gun over a decade ago. Whats taken me so long? I'm lazy. I've only just started wearing earrings again and wanted to let my ears get used to that before going for it. I'm already scoping out possible jewelry for the future and am finding some mighty fine pieces at this here place: Kolo Piercing. Specifically, I've got my eye on these babies...

UPDATE - Nov. 20th: The 14g rings I had were too small to hold the captive ball without squishing my ear so I went out and got new captive rings, but I went for 12g because I'm a jackass. They seem to be doing fine, though, minimal soreness and hardly any swelling to speak of. I think I'll be okay with these for a while until they fully heal and i can move up again. No worries, I'm really liking the new rings I got...

(These guys are a bit bigger than mine. They're 8g as opposed to 12g... but you get the idea)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've been looking up video games for the console I do not have. I think I'm gonna get a PS2, seeing as they're old hat to true gamers and the price has gone down. For the past year or so I've been really craving video games. I had a Sega Genesis when I was, oh, abough 9 or so. I'd like to relive those days... of being a total recluse and abusing my eyesight by staring at the tv for far too many hours of the day.
Anyway, there are two games I'm really interested in right now:
God of War and Shadow of the Colossus.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
X-mas is coming upon us and I've started my shopping! I hope everyone loves what they get from me. I'm glad I have the money this year to get some lovely things for my lovely loved ones.
There's really only one thing I'm asking for and that's, wait for it... an ipod. Can you believe I don't have one? I've decieded it's absolutely neccesary and I must obtain one! And none of that sissy Shuffle or Nano crap, I want the real fucking deal. 30 GB is fine... but, yeah... that's what I'm hoping I'll find under my tree this year!

Hope you're all doing swell!
kiss

Thanks a fuck-ton for all the lovely comments on our set! It was so much fun to shoot, I simpley can't say enough wonderful things about Madeleine! I was in awe the first time I saw her pictures when she was in limbo and next thing you know we're in RI taking a shower in some random dude's house! Wait, that sounds sketchy... well, we're sketchy folks. He actually really wasn't that random and he's got one hell of a kitchen, eh?!

Of course, it's ALWAYS a pleasure to work with tmronin!

... and the mysterious waiter? None other than the talented meros1!

Thanks again, guys! I'm glad you "loved it"!

In other news, I'll be at this fine event tomorrow night in NYC with the likes of Derceto, tmronin, and of course the lovely(?) ymonster! Not to mention a bunch of SG's, as well. Fun times will be had by me! And everyone else, most likely!

In other, other news, dead dogs are sexy.

Went to see Dismember last night... fuck, what an amazing show! One of the best live acts, I'd have to say. Those guys love what they do, it's so apparent, and they're very into the crowd.
I'm really feeling it today, it's impossible for me to take it easy at metal shows... ugh... so worth it, though.
I'm missing out on Gwar and Municipal Waste tonight which is a bummer, but I've seen Gwar before and the Waste will be back with Destruction and Sadus a mere two days before my 21st birthday. I'd love to see Gwar again, though. Blah... next time.

So, that lovely painting of me from my last entry? I apparently wasn't the only one who enjoyed it, someone went ahead and whipped this up not long after I put the edited version up on myspace:

This is made even more awesome because of my love for Fuck the Facts. Grindcore isn't exactly my genre of choice, but these guys rock. Not to mention the fact that the chick vocalist is hot as hell and a total sweetheart!

Aside from what seems to be a constant hangover, I'm loving life right now. That's really all the update you need smile

When you're having a crappy day something like this is most welcome and much appreciated...

By the talented RedAss!

Destroyer 666 tomorrow, whoo hoo! New tattoo all planned out and needing to be done in the very near future. I've been wanting to get something to cover up this gross scar I have on my right forearm ever since I got it at 13. Finally, at long last, the time has come! I'm ready!

Crappy days turned awesome are the best days ever biggrin

The Day After...

My everything hurts.

It was a fucking GREAT show! They fucking kick ass live! Unfortunately, I was in such a rush to get out the door that I left my id back at my house, six hours away from where the show was. I figured it wouldn't be a very big deal, I mean, it's a fucking metal show. Apparently it was a big deal. A very big deal, in fact, and I was made to wait outside in the cold from 7-midnight when Destroyer 666 finally went on.
I got to the front... yay! I got felt up more than I have ever been at any show, EVER... boo! K.K. smiled and winked at me... yay! Then I got my arm knocked out of it's socket. Three times... BOOOO!!!
I still had a good time, but after the third time I had to pop my arm back into place, I figured it was time to mosey on over to the back. LAME! I never do that! I had every intention of fighting those drunken fucks for MY SPOT at the front... but there's only so much you can do. What I hated was everyone saying "you're so little, you should stay out of the pit, blah blah blah...". Ah well. I've never had that problem before, that place was a fucking warzone! People beating the fucking SHIT out of each other, broken glass carpeting the floor. Man.... pure metal madness, I say!

Then it was off to Duff's. There was a party for Will Rahmer of Mortician so it was pretty packed, but I did see a bunch of people I'd met at Death in the Forest and the Ghoul show at the Fireproof. It was pretty cool, although I wasn't drinking (gasp!) because Matt had given me a heavy painkiller for my arm... which I normally waouldnt take, but I was in a lot of pain. He was too, actually, he had them because he has a hole in his ear drum and HE STILL WENT! Again, pure metal madness.
Then all of a sudden Peter Steele shows up?! That was... well, I guess it wasn't random, it just didn't even occur to me that he would be there. Funny stuff.

Well, I'm home now and taking it easy. My arm is still KILLIng me and my knees are bruised pretty badly from fending off huge hulks of lameness at the front of the stage.

... next weekend? Back to NYC! This time will be my first time there without going to a show, though. It'll just be for a photoshoot, so I won't have to worry about getting beaten up. Yay!

I'm feeling really pessimistic. I mean, more so than usual. Maybe it's because my head is fucking KILLING me and blah blah blah.

Blah.

Ugh... OUCHIES!!!

I feel like I'm hungover but in reality this is the first weekend in what seems like ages that I'm not!

Even if Toxic Holocaust isn't playing like previously rumored, I'm still SO EXCITED about finally seeing Destroyer 666!!!
