I would def consider this one of my fave movies now!!!

My weekend was cut a bit short by work, but, I was ordered home by my boss luckily so I was able to pick up tickets to see Tron before it was sold out!! A great day to cap the week that was craziness...working overtime, being short staffed.
Today was pretty chill too...went to eat veggie Dim Sum with Voodou who I haven't seen in ages Was nice to catch up while filling our tumtums with yummy eats.
I went on a bit of a walk after & went to pick up a great gift that was sent to me by RedSoxRule on my wishlist THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!

So, I'm not sure if I mentioned it but I haven't really celebrated X-mas in years. At first I felt wierd because the tradition was so ingrained into me. But, by now I am totally un-phased by people's sad reactions when I tell them.
I honestly just love having the day off. I am looking forward to un-baking/baking & relaxing. Working retail, you definately get to see a different side to it all. I know that isn't what X-mas is really about, as people say, but, that is what I experience. It just seems like a tradition that doesn't really have a use anymore. Just buying to buy..wierd. I guess I do appreciate people who take time to make things though

Um on a different note, I re-dyed my hair yet again..it's purple.





At work all the girls put on sparkly nail polish & called it "decking the scales"
(I work in a tea shop)
& since I haven't posted a nudie in awhile.......

I am excited at the thought of being connected again.
For those of you that don't know, I lost my iphone in October
& have only just replaced it today.
There are things I enjoyed while not having one, but, things
that were made uber frustrating by not having one.
So, I am back.

Recently I celebrated a birthday. My big 3.0 to be exact. The venue I chose
turned to be a bit of a flop, but, it was a fun nite overall. It was great seeing the
people that I ♥ but, barely get to see anymore. Since it was a big b-day I felt the need to
celebrate although celebration can be such a funny tradional thing at times.
So many people were really sweet. Meaningful gifts make a girl feel loved.
My bff made me a vegan ice cream cake at work, I got a few lovely necklaces,
some money & a painting. I am also getting some ink done as a gift in January
It's crazy to think my twenties are gone. The older I get the less I know it seems.
When I was younger I thought I knew everything, but, I am definately looking forward
to growing more within myself, exploring & living life unconventionally as per usual.

Lately, with the cold, I am in total hibernation mode. I'm sure having Netflix on X-Box
doesn't help.
I have been super busy at work with X-mas preparations. It makes things fun & exciting
at least.
I also have been taking a bit of party break. A much needed one. When the badtimes
outwiegh the good they say....I look forward to positivity & creativity coming back
in full force.
