My days off for Xmas were relaxing, it was nice to reconnect with my self & my other half.
I baked (ani's raw vegan cheesecake, drool) & some oatmeal cookies from my Vegan Planet book
as well as shortbread, that finally turned out better, unlike last year!

Dinner was on the fly since I mostly had just planned around the sweets. But, I made a lentil walnut loaf with mashed squashtatoes..mmm....
I played our new Wii Fit,
Drank some soy-nog & Sailor Jerry's rum
watched some movies, including a great docu called Planet B Boy
& spent time with my gorgeous felines.

.
My search for a job continues. It is quite bad timing esp. around this time of year, but, its kinda nice
already having a job when you look for one.
I've also been randomly doing a lot of research, as I do, on herbs & such. I am a total geek when it comes to shit like this.
I also found this interesting tidbit of raw vs. cooked foods for those who are interested.
Raw Vs. Cooked
Dr. Fuhrman's FAQ section is quite thorough. I came across him by listening to Colleen Patrick-Goudreau (from Compassionate Cooks) on the Vegetarian Food for Thought Podcast. This woman simple amazes & inspires me to become a more happy vegan.
Anyways that's all for now.
Ciao
