Sorry for the lack of blogs lately
Summer is always a time of getting off my ass & enjoying life
& being outside as much as I can.
I am starting to make lists again.
Things I need to do, to read, to understand, to buy, to create.
I've been surrounding myself with,
kitties (but of course) as Shinje & Isis follow me around
lots of sleeping
incredible slow periods at work due to the city of vancouver changing the bill of zoning for our shop not being able to sell toys..ugh
lots of training of new staff
reading cheesy erotic fae stories
walking around a lot
astro boy
the new amazing korean vampire movie "Thirst"
my long hair driving me crazy....oh but I have plans for it!
Lavonne coming up with a rad new set idea for me based on something I said in an earlier blog
new ink ideas
block breaker deluxe
fucked up dreams which involve murder & carnage
uping my ear gauge a little
Oh yeah & the last amazing thing after an annoying day of commercialized torture & bullshit whiny music, plus no beer The fucking Gallows showed me that I can still have some faith for a band having passion & talent in what they do.....Plus I bumped into the lovely Lyxzen a few times & we had the joy of sharing the view of little tough Frank & the wall of death/crazy running mosh pit together. There was a few other highlights like Passenger Action, love those guys. I did bump into random other people I knew too, I also saw Ala for a quick hello.
But after the end of the Gallows, with barely any food in my tum tum & tiredness setting in from a day of waiting, I felt a natural high the entire rest of the nite. My boy bought backstage passport so we proceeded to watch that & finally, drink some beer
