Hiya!

How have you been? Personally, I'm stuck in my bed for the second day and do hesitate to call sick at work. I hate doing that (yesterday was actually the first time I did that) and yesterday I said I'll come back today but I started thinking that what I thought was a sore throat might be a tonsillitis. I hope not... I really should go back to work today because of the money and because I feel bad for my colleagues. I don't specially like that job and being a waitress isn't a life dream but I want to do my best in what I do, whatever what I do.

By the way, I've been looking for another job for weeks, something like retail job or any job I could do during the day but at the moment, I got no response. People just don't bother themselves to try to know more about me or simply tell me "Hey! I don't think you'll suit the position. Bye!" and this, guys, depresses me a lot.

Also, I've recently been feeling homesick. Never ever wanted to be home so badly. Being home, drinking wine with my mates and boyfriend, purring on the coach with my cat (well, me purring, him assaulting me). Roald Dahl (reminder: he's my favourite writer ever) said something really true: "Homesickness is a bit like seasickness. You don't know how awful it is until you get it, and when you do, it hits you right in the top of the stomach and you want to die." The dying thing is a bit too heavy but I get what he meant. If I hadn't this contract with my flat, I would have run back home already... To come back next September since I do want to go tu Uni here.

I haven't took a lot of pictures, I just got these ones from last weekend when the boy visited me. Good times.

I know you can't see much of it but this café is officially my favourite place in all London.

Last but not least, thanks to people who let a positive comment on my last set. You're not a lot and then, it means the world to me. I wish I could have for once one of my set on frontpage too but I doubt it will happen.

Have a good day, guys.
(no kiss, I don't want you to be sick wink)

je te trouve tellement jolie qu'il est temps que tu aies un set en FP!
Et puis je comprends ton mal du pays, ça me faisait pareil quand j'étais loin de la maison, même si je m'éclatais et découvrais plein de nouvelles choses.

i understand homesickness very well, it takes time. every day away from home you grow a little, just focus on that and everything will be better.

meh, looks as if I will be too busy with uni stuff tomorrow. I was hoping to finish everything today but I am far from that. lemme know when you will have time again, if I am not too busy with uni I can have a coffe basically every day. where do you live and work btw? I live in clapton and my university is close to oxford circus, so that's the places where I am most of the time.

I get homesickness bad, always have. It's pretty miserable and moroseness hey. Do you wanna meet for a coffee one time, next week maybe? Make friends smile I could take you somewhere cool - and free since we're both jobless - there's an anatomy museum near Trafalgar Square that I've never been to that I wanted to see.
yeah, it's just been growing out from shaved so I had a free haircut (model for a job interview) to get it into a proper haircut, thanks smile I do like that photo.

Kind of reassuring to hear it's not just me that's having difficulty being selected for the jobs. Do you look for vacancies on gumtree.com? It's pretty useful. Waitress and retail and barjobs, plenty on there and they're plenty legitimate and all.

Love those photos of you and you look so gorgeous in your set xx

Yes, maybe we just have to adapt to the changing situations but we're still always this same person through it all with all the flaws and the positive parts too. Sometimes it seems wrong to even talk of positive and negative in that context though, I'm not sure how much sense it makes when talking about a person. Ha anyway, I'm terribly confused today and pretty sure nothing I'm saying makes sense. Thank you for your words, they have made me think though. I haven't read Atonement, do you recommend it? I hope you find a nice new job soon and are no longer sick in bed! :-)
