Well, hello there lovelies

I just uploaded a video for your viewing pleasure. It was shot by a local Columbus photographer tsurufoto back in December, and I decided to upload it to the site so SG members can see it too. So nice of us, right?
This past weekend was Hell City!! I have to say, I think I had the most fun this year, although Alissa and I were really missing Radeo
BUT I did get to meet a bunch of girls I had never had the pleasure of meeting before! I love working cons and getting to see girls you never get to see and also meeting new ones.

I finally got to meet Vellin!

She's a sweetheart and just as pretty in real life

Alissa and I were completely obsessed all weekend with buying these Toki Doki unicorn vinyl toys, and the most exciting part about them is they're wrapped in foil so it's a surprise every time you open one. There are 10 in all for this series, and some are harder to find than others. We discovered that the death metal unicorn was rare and spent all weekend devoted to finding this holy grail of unicorns. It's a long tale that involves betrayal, despair, treachery, and victory, but we both obtained that which we had been seeking. This is the proof:

If you didn't get a chance to make it to Hell City this year, you should DEFINITELY make it to next year's show! There's also one in Phoenix for those who can't make it to the Columbus show.
In non-Hell City related news, I was on the cover of an extra insert Called Girls Galore in the newest issue of TATTOO magazine! Damsel and Pilot were also featured, with pictures by Alissa

I shot some pics with Sunshine a wee bit ago as well. She has been shooting more and more these days, and I think her work keeps getting better and better. It's always fun to shoot with a friend, too

I got my stomach tattooed a couple of weeks ago. I finally got my Kanji on my hip covered up; it was my first tattoo and I was a little embarrassed of it. Not of what it was, just the quality of it in comparison with the other tattoos I have.

Color comes in June. Yay!
And some randomness to close out this silly space of a blog.

Oh my. I am really getting horrible at this whole "updating" thing. I apologize from the bottom of my supposed heart
Since last time, I have been at work NONSTOP. It's pretty much all I do anymore. It's beginning to wear on me a bit actually, having to deal with ignorant pet owners gets quite obnoxious.
But enough about work. A little bit of goodness is going to be coming to a computer screen near you. TONIGHT!

Shot by the always talented AlissaBrunelli, of course.
It's been almost a year since I shot a set. It's always so interesting to see my sets throughout the years, and see how different I am, and how different I feel. It's like a fun, naked timeline.
But, like I said, I pretty much work every day. Having two days off in a week is like a vacation.

I do get to see interesting things, though. Like a mohawk on a dog's tongue!
Somehow, between all my work hours, I managed to squeeze in some things.
Like, learning how to longboard.

Going to the zoo with jakejakelake

Embrace my inner hipster.

Getting a new bike.

She's a 1958 Western Flyer, all original parts. Gorgeous.
Shoot some smut/nonsmut.

Shoot a new set with Lego to be seen sometime in the future.

Get a new septum ring finally.

Celebrate St. Patty's day with some Michigan friends and SG friends.

And read the Hunger Games trilogy and see the movies twice in theaters (one time at 3:15 A.M.)
I also started writing more in my book, which is very exciting for me
THINGS I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO (for those who care, and if not, well, amuse me):
HELL CITY
GETTING STOMACH TATTOOED
MICHIGAN TRIP
NICE WEATHER
WATER PARKS
BIKE RIDES
As I'm sure a lot of you know, I had to say goodbye to my best friend in Ohio as she moved away on to bigger and better things in New York.

Please go wish Radeo a happy move and lots of good fortunes in her fortune cookies!

Thank you everyone for my birthday lovin'. My thanks:

I went to Florida with Lego. Can I just say, we are really cool.

Almost TOO cool, I know.
Our first day, we were supposed to go to the Promised Land (AKA Harry Potter World). Buuut we slept in like douchebags and didn't go. So then we decided, maybe the mall and then wing it from there (DOWNGRADE) and with me as a navigator...things didn't turn out as expected.
We took a wrong turn and ended up at a super rad attraction in the middle of nowhere Orlando called Gatorland!

There were literally alligators and crocodiles EVERYWHERE. It was crazy awesome.

We even got to hold a baby gator (and a snake) for a really cool keychain. Way cooler than yours.

it was such a crazy fun, totally random adventure and I loved it more than is even allowed.

Then we met up with NickLoungecat at the bar he works at and had a drink and chit chatted. (Hi, Nick!). Again, totally random and awesome.
THEN I got to go out on the town with these sexy fuckers.

Got real drunk.

And generally just an epic time. Downtown Orlando is NUTS. In a good way
The next day we got to go to Disney World! FOR FREE!!!

We were a bit hungover, so it was rough at first. But how could you not perk up at ANIMAL KINGDOM?!?

We also went to Magic Kingdom but my phone was dunzo by that point, unfortunately
On our last day we had to go to Legoland for our dear Lego of course. It's her crazy obsession, and she was so excited it was too adorable for words.

I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT ABOUT NEW YEAR'S. Not that there's much to say other than, yay 2012?

My blog ended up as nothing, and then I edited it in a dysfunctional fashion. You're welcome.
Ok, now I really do need to go paint my nails because they are looking extra questionable at the moment. Thanks for sticking with me, folks.
Oh, and I got another ferret. A Link for my Zelda

I have been severely slacking on answering messages on here. For that, my loves, I am deeply sorry. It's really because of this.

I've logged 200+ hours into the game so far. Which is not being very fair to Skyward Sword, I must say. But I'm the kind of lady who can't move onto a new game until I've completed EVERYTHING I wanted to in whatever I'm playing beforehand.
To make it up to you, I give you tits.

If you want more, watch this video
I am surprisingly excited for New Years this year. Not because I have an concrete plans, per say, but because I'm looking forward to putting this stagnant year behind me and moving onto a more productive year. I've made several small resolutions such as:
Consume less sugar (most sugary snacks)
Do more of a concrete exercise regiment
Spend more time with friends
WRITE A BOOK (Ok, this one isn't necessarily a "small" one)
Write more in general
Take more candids of my life
Get out of my apartment more
Stop blowing friends off to be a hermit
Travel more, even if it's within the state
Go on more adventures
Be more honest with those close to me
Be more honest with myself
Stop feeling sorry for myself for turning 25
Ah, yes. The quintessential birthday. For most it's 16, 18, 21. But to be honest, those "milestones" never meant much to me. Besides the fact that I can now rent a car (could help my "go on more adventures" resolution, perhaps?) I feel like I've reached a point in my life where I should be transitioning into more "adult-like" qualities. Like striving more for a career that will make me happy, not just be a paycheck. The fact that I told myself throughout my life that I would be published by the time I turned 25 is really weighing heavily as my birthday crawls closer (January 6
)
I don't even know where to begin when it comes to getting published. I hear writing a book is a good start, so I'll get on that
Then I'll have to research the hard stuff.
Speaking of birthdays, I'm going to throw this out there if anyone would like to put a smile on an old lady's face.
Wishlist<<<
I've never made a wishlist before, and I feel a bit silly putting it here. But I must say, it was a bit fun putting it all together and imagining all the things I'd love to have if I made more money. Queue that best-selling novel of mine
I think another resolution of mine will be to buy something for myself as a reward off my wishlist every time I accomplish a goal I've set for myself.
You're never too old to spoil yourself. Right?
Back to my hermit cave. I only have two more days of being a recluse, so I should get it out of my system while I can.
xo Frolic
P.S. everyone go and congratulate Rogue on going pink! She's super rad and you will fall in love with her

Thank all of you for your lovely words on my last blog. Hopefully I'll walk this rut off soon. I have a small pipe dream to write teen fantasy novels, so I'm in the process of starting one. Maybe it'll make me feel better about everything
Until I can think of something better to say to all of you, here is an awesome video of yours truly for you to watch that was out together by a local Columbus photographer, Tsuru

I always get like this
Like there’s some switch in my brain that goes off and all of a sudden what I have isn’t good enough.
I get tired of things being stagnant. Bored. Why can’t I just be happy?
Always searching, never finding. How poetic of me.
And some unrelated photos:

Well, I suppose all the good vibes paid off because my hot friend Lego is an official Suicide Girl now
Yay!!
How is everyone's Fall so far? (I guess this doesn't apply to everyone, so if you're on the other side of the world, just pretend it's Fall for my sake).
Fall is my absolute fucking favorite season. Grandpa sweaters, boots, and scarves on deck! Seriously. That's all I wear once it gets cold.

Delta knows what's up.
Speaking of Delta, I can't remember if I revealed my finished tattoo of him or not, so here it is in all its glory.

I LOOOVE it. It was done by Scott Santee here in Columbus, OH at Memento Tattoo if you're in the area and want some rad ass work done. Now I don't have any unfinished tattoos
I hate the feeling of having half-finished work on my body. Now I can finially start my chest piece. Guess I should shoot a new set to fund it, yeah?
While I'm on the subject of my hounds, remember my puppy Killian?

Well, this is him now.

JOKES! He is actually becoming quite the little gentleman.

That's him and Sunshine's baby Zen, being brindle lovers.
I'd actually like to give a shout out to Sunshine and her man Killer47 for letting me live in their house for two weeks with my dogs while I waited to be able to move into my new apartment. I really appreciate ya'll letting me into your house and having a dog farm with me
Proof of said dog farm:

That's my man Delta, Sunshine's Zen, my Killian, and her Gunny. They are quite the handsome group, wouldn't you agree?
While I was living with Sunnie, all I did pretty much was help Alissa out with shoots before she left on her vacation.
See?

WHY WON'T MY BLOG LET ME ATTACH PHOTOS SOMETIMES? Sorry, quick rant. I have candids of Damsel, Gallows, Rourke, and Patton and my laptop won't let me post them! Sucks for you folks, I suppose. Guess you'll just have to wait until the sets actually come out to experience the greatness
Once I was done creeping around Reynoldsburg, my boyfriend finally returned from Tahoe and we were able to move into our new apartment. We don't even have a sofa yet but we definitely bought a 55" LCD tv on the first day.

Who wouldn't want to play Dead Island on 55" epicness?! It's pretty amazing. And we have cable and I haven't had access to tv shows in about 3 years, so I have some catching up to do. Now that we have Netflix, I've been on a Mad Men and Sons of Anarchy binge (yes, simultaneously. I'm a boss).

Just a little glimpse of our humble abode. I am currently creating this blog from my home base, our mattress sofa
My boyfriend has two dogs and I have two dogs, so we have FOUR dogs, plus us, in a one bedroom apartment. It's quite cozy. Thankfully, the dog park is right down the street so the dogs can let their energy out there.

and how could I forget this little lady?! 4 dogs, plus Zelda
Welp, everyone keep it real.

I keep it real in flannel.
xo Frolic
P.S. I officially own the raddest shirt. Ever. Period.

P.P.S. WHAT'S EVERYONE BEING FOR HALLOWEEN?! I want to try and make a Daenerys Targaryen costume (if you don't know her, Google it. You'll thank me later).

Why do I keep getting sunburns like this?!

Probably because I bought SPF 110 and only spray it on my tattoos. Priorities, ya dig?
So when I last left off, I was about to be jet-setting my way across the contiguous United States of 'ol America to Michigan for a wedding, Tahoe for my boyfriend and then to Houston, to finally settle back in my nest that is Columbus.
So, without further adieu, my two-week "summer vacation" (I put that in quotes because it's the only vacation I get during school until Christmas, which is...2 days I think.)

Someone said I was Kat von Dee at the wedding. I immediately set them on fire.

And this pretty much ends my appropriate pictures from the wedding.

We were in a photo competition with her friend to one-up each other with absurdness. As we're rolling around drunk and giggling on the bathroom floor of the wedding reception, an old lady comes in and asks if we're "doing ok in there." I lost my shit. It was so sweet of her to ask, though
Then I bid farewell to my alma mater and made haste to Lake Tahoe, my first time to that part of California.

Flying into Reno

Zephyr Cove, where my boyfriend works. (he has an SG membership now! be his friend! jakelake

free cruise!

AMERICUUUH

We were forced to take this ridiculous touristy picture

gondola rides!

an evening jaunt to Reno later that day

secret lakes

secret waterfalls

secret beaches
Then off to Houston to visit the parentals and reunite with old friends

I found some hidden treasures. This was me my senior year of high school:

Then finally back to Columbus to be reunited with my hounds. The Kraken is getting fixed tomorrow!! Aahhhh. He shall wear the Cone of Shame for days, poor lad.
Hmm, what else. I got a ferret.

Her name is Zelda and she's super amazing
Planked like Jesus

That's all I can think of for now. Being back in reality has fried my brain.
Oh, but thank you to everyone for loving my set all the way to the front page! I love ya'll right back
in return, here's something pretty Alissa shot.

Hihi!

This is going to be in MR at midnight tonight
I'm really excited, I think this is my favorite set with Alissa yet.
Leave some love, if you feel so inclined
I would be a happy little red panda.
Here's come cool things from school:

IV catheters! I've gotten pretty good at doing them on the dow rod, but I'm sure doing them on a patient is much, much different haha.

This is a canine blood smear under a microscope! It's so cool the iPhone could capture this. All the little red guys are red blood cells and the two purplish guys are white blood cells ( a monocyte and a lymphocyte for any of you biology nerds
)

We got to dissect cats on friday. This is one of its kidneys! I love how you can see all the intricacies of the veins. And the major vein and artery coming out the side.

We also found kittens in one of the cats! It was so fascinating to see them in real life. You can see all their little claws, and their little ears and tails. They were actually kind of cute. Maybe this is morbid, but I wanted to keep it in a jar to put on a shelf in my room, but my professor said it was a no go
In non-school related updates:

I got my septum pierced and started gauging my ears

got some work done on my Delta piece

hang outs with Radeo and my boyfriend's hipster puppies

more puppies

poolside hang outs

Seeing The Black Keys with Drama and Radeo

Havana visits!!

Said goodbye to my boyfriend. He moved to Tahoe for the summer for an internship.
Welp, that's about all I got kids. This weekend begins my summer break, yay! My last day of finals is tomorrow, and then I go to Michigan for the weekend for a good friend's wedding, then next week is Tahoe/Reno, and the week after is Houston!
I'll have a much cooler update after my travels, promise

Maybe this is morbid, but I wanted to keep it in a jar to put on a shelf in my room, but my professor said it was a no go
