Hello my friends!!
Time for another Friskey update!
I have had a very active summer, lots of work and play. Let me share in summery of my amazing Happenings...
First off, I made a little album! I did it!!! But not without the help of my talented friends...
Its available on CD Baby Take a gander at the link and you can preview the songs. Its guaranteed to bring a smile to your face And I was super lucky to have my AMAZINGLY talented musician friends on my album (I managed to steal away from Feist and Steven Page).
Next fun thing, I had a wee acting gig this summer in the Toronto Fringe Fest.
I played a Clown Ghost named Miette in my friend Mullet's Make-A-Play.
Mullet is my Zombie Clown friend (who I met years ago at a Toronto Comic Con w SG). He has a webcomic that comes out every Weds. He's awesome.
Now a while back I posed for my friend Caitlin Cronenberg for her book POSER.
Its a beautiful hard copy book filled with naked folks shot in black and white style. Its a really interesting collection, all different types of people. Its a work of art.
It's available on Indigo online (crazy sale price)
Check it out!
Another CRAZY exciting happening this summer is that I worked on a shoot for L'UOMO Vogue (Itallian Mens Mag) doing makeup/hair. If you can get your hands on the September issue check out David Cronenbergs spread (new movie A Dangerous Method being released), I helped tame his eyebrows and we had a wonderful discussion about bugs.
To top off this awesome summer I will be joining my fellow Hellions in Hell City Phoenix next week. I am sooooo excited to see my friends and soak in the sun!! Will you be there too???
I'll be getting some new ink done by the wonderful Mr. Larrybone, going to continue with my sleeve. Yay! Can't wait!!
Come find me! I'll be the Devil walking around with the Hell City Mascots.... (I'll have cd's with me too, message me and I will save one for you).
Maybe, just maybe I can stage a little poolside ukulele concert....I'll bring some extra little instruments, who's in for playing with me????
I'm just BURSTING with EXCITEMENT!!!!
CAN"T WAIT!!!!!
whoop whoop!
hugs and hearts xoxox

I had a super fun time at the Anti-Valentines day show this past weekend. Luscious did such an amazing job organizing. All the girls looked super hawt and it was really fun hanging out with everyone. Seriously everyone is so lovely and sweet.
Nights like this I really appreciate being a suicide girl and being part of this awesome community.
I'm pretty happy with my gorlesque performance. I will upload a video soon.
I will leave you with a pic of me in my hot bloody mess.
My apologies to you all for not having a new blog in so long....
It's just this past year has been so amazing and fun for me that I have some weird guilt issues about posting when other crazy dark shit is going on in the world....
Does that make sense?
So this blog I am going to talk about a couple things that have effected me emotionally this year...
I'll keep it short and sweet.
1. The Louisiana Gulph Oil Disaster.
I had the pleasure to visit New Orleans right before this tragedy happened. There is no place else like it. Its beautiful, the people are amazing and the culture is truly a mix that has become its own which I have never experienced before. I hate to think how its effected the people, closing down family run businesses, killing animals, the environment and food source. Food is so much of the Louisiana culture. I truly hope that it will recover. But I'm not so sure since disasters like the Exxon Valdez still have not. Exxon Valdez Update
2.The G20 Summit.
This summer the Canadian Government decided to host the G20 Summit in the downtown Toronto core despite protest from residents, businesses and the Toronto Mayor. I live and work in downtown Toronto myself so saw what went down. Over 1100 people were arrested and detained in a makeshift jail, only about 100 have been actually charged. People who were just trying to get to work and found themselves in a mob were arrested. Property was damaged, there is major talk of police provocateurs instigating. I could go on about the lies the Government has told and the insane amount of money that was spent, the damage to the city, the misuse of police power and how innocent people were mistreated.
Personally I feel it was a big FUCK YOU from Prime Minister Stephen Harper to the citizens of Canada and a show to the other leaders of the world how strong he is and how he can control his people. Major Rights were violated and I'm not too sure how free we are anymore.
Ah well. That is Friskey's Rant everyone!
I hope you enjoyed it...
My next blog, I will tell you all about the fun that I have been having in Hell City and my travels around! I promise
I will end this blog with a late Christmas Gift for you.
Santa lost it in the North Pole.

the movie that has been consuming my life, i dont think I have ever worked so hard
(almost done though! I see the light!)
This is a teaser for my dear friend Lily Fawn's musical video by Wadewalker
This was soooo much fun as me and a bunch of my friends got together and made my creepy basement into a Circus of Freaks!
And this ones for fun...its an animation that I made back in art school (Its about a dream that I had when I was 10)...This one goes out to all you Horny Eyeballs out there
Hello Sweet Shwittens! (FYI: Shwittens is my endearing name for kittens)
THANK YOU! ♥ THANK YOU! ♥ THANK YOU! ♥ for the love on my new set Dragon Lady. Its so nice to read all your lovely comments. Fills me with love.
Now Valentines Day and Chinese New Year is approaching, on the same day actually! I highly suggest you take your honey out for some yummy Dim Sum for brunch that day. YOu might catch a glimpse of the dancing dragons.
Now I understand that if you have never tried it, it could be a little weird so just stick to the dumplings and buns...Har Gow (shrimp dumplings) Sui Mai (pork and shrimp dumplings) and beef cheong fun (beef wrapped in rice noodle) are my favorites.
Try the chicken feet and tripe (cows stomach) if you want to be adventurous A big thing I have learned about chinese food is that its all about the texture and flavours. Flavours are always delicious! Textures need a little getting used to...I dare you to try
But if Dim Sum on Valentines day isnt your thing maybe this is...
I'm selling a package of 3, 5by7 Limited Edition Friskey Vintage Peepshow Pics. YOu only get a little taste on the poster as the pics are for YOUr Eyes Only
The package sent comes with a sweet home made valentine by ME! I will sign the pics too if you would like.

More vintage Friskey...
If you haven't seen already... The Dance of Solome
This set has been in member review for a while. I don't wish it to go live on the front page, and I wont take it down because I love it so much. Its a set that I needed to create and wanted to use the prosthetic decapitated head I made. My kind boyfriend honksqueek lent me his head to make a mold for John the Baptist. Believe me this head now gets around (ie cameo in Ontario Halloween set Suicide Girls Best way to view this set is to put some exotic music on and think B-Movie.
Wanna see what has been consuming me for the past month?
Jane Doe is a film I am Key Makeup Artist on. Its a story of a girl who falls deep into abusing heroin and trys to find her way home.
I'm super excited about this project because I really get to use my spfx skills to help create a gritty realism to the film.
I won't post pics of the the needle marks I get to recreate, because I'm not sure its really appropriate but heres the poster for the film...I will post a teaser trailer soon.
