I saw my best friend today for the first time in ages and we got pist on a terrace, the best in amsterdam, Soundgarden. We also practiced for our Burlesque show this weekend, but most of the time we drank I love getting drunk in the sun.

Oh god my boyfriend has finally discovered myspace as a good place to promote his band. But we all know what that means.... boys and thier toys... A film, a bag of crisps and alone off to bed for me tonight

Today was the first real spring day. And trust me to have some more of the ink on my arm done yesterday so I couldn't enjoy the sun! It was 25 degrees, almost tropical So I polished my bike, an Electra model called the Betty, with ice blue retroflames and skulls on the wheels and we went for a bike ride, to the woods. It was nice and cool there. And on the way back, I had an icescream. Chocolate and vanilla, yummy, my first ice this year. We cycled all in all about 19 kilometers. No idea how many miles that is, sorry. We were exhausted what with the heat and all, that we then slept for a couple of hours. And now I've woken up, my darling Johan is still snorring, bless his little heart! And now it's cool outside, people are eating dinner on the balcony or the lucky few have a garden or rooftopterrace. ..

Queensday was a blast!
Not only did I sell lots of junk, old clothes, shoes etc. I bought some new junk, like a leopard print lamp, an original fifties betty page style ridingcrop, a nice gothy bracelit/ring type thing and a fake fur stola, very nice
And the rain, hail, thunder 'n lightning and wind that was supposed to come....didn't. Which made the hole day a lot better. It was a long day though, out the door by 7. The streets were allready packed. We sold stuff and drank till about 17:00. Then I went home, ate, showered, made myself all pretty in my new polkadot dress and went to the korsakoff. Normally my set is 23:00 till 04:00. But being Queensday I played 22:00 till 05:00. Home again by 7! so 24 hours , that must make me a die-hard, it's official

Anyhoo, tonight sisters of mercy in the Milkyway. You know, I've been into goth music for 13 years and I've never seen 'm before. I hear they are a strange band to see .live. They are the godfathers of goth, but they hate goths. Even spit on the pretty goth girls down the front. So today I'm gonna wear combat trousers and my old new kids t-shrt

Today was hell in work.
Not only am I SG, model, DJ, .......
I am also an occupational therapist in an old peoples home. Apart from having to drink lots of coffee with the o.a.p's and listen to storries about the good old days, I am also in charge of all the main activities, bingo, daytrips, films, bands/ artists on sunday afternoons (hungover) and the likes. Tomorrow we are celebrating the queens birthday. Yay! Now in Holland this is a big event. I mean BIG. Huge infact, and believe me I love Queensday, as it is called. Koninginnedag is allways on the 30 of april, but because that is a sunday and sunday being a relious day (?) it had to be held a different day. Logically the whole of Holland want to celebrate it monday but because our primeminister is a stingy bastard, it's on saturday. So no extra free day. And because we at the old people home are bastards, we dont wanna work on saturday so we are fooling the old people and pretending its tomorrow (friday!)

Anyhoo, this evening we spent, after a full days work, another 4 hours decorating the hall. And tomorrow is going to be 8 hours of shit. Believe me, I love my old ladies (men just dont live that long, so mostly ladies) and when they are happy, I am happy. But the nurses, volenteers etc are a complete bunch of amateurs when it comes to organizing events and general communication.
We have 3 schools comming in with kids doing tricks, We have a theater group coming to do some royal sketches, I don't know what to expect, but they were assholes on the phone! And then we have poffertjes (small dutch pancakes , mmmm) , haring (dutch raw fish) and sate (chicken on sticks with hot spicy peanutbutter sauce.
And little old me is going to run the whole show. Saturday is then my partytime, me and about 125.000 people in amsterdam alone are going to go WILD and
the next day! The next day being sunday and then the Sisters of Mercy are playing. Hell Yeah!

All I gotta do is get tomorrow safetly out of the way and then PARTYTIME

My boyfriend is getting new ink tonight though, so something to look forward too. Poor hun, he has a hernia and has been of sick now for 3 months and it doesn't look like it's getting any better. He probably needs an op, so he deserves treat! He does heavy work, he's a sound engineer and stagemanager so does heavy lifting and stuff and like me he aint getting any younger

So when is my set going to air I wonder....
They named it and put up the first pic straight away... waiting to be queued it says but I don't wanna wait any longer. Impatient, I know, but I'm just curious to find out what ya'll think!
