+And the great news that my mom's buying me a kitty for my birthday in august. I'm set on a big fat tabby, like the one I had as a kid. Or a ragdoll kitten Photo's will come in due time.

-Edit- YES! Rafa Nadal won the trophy. It was the most exciting match I've seen in a long while. He won the first 2 sets, then Federer came back by winning the 3rd and 4th. It was nail biting and hair raising stuff. But talent, good looks and strong balls (of the tennis kind of course ) prevailed.
Come on, how can you not love a champion like this

DO you ever go to the gym? And when you are there, working out, do you look like you're taking a crap? I was noticing today how many people pull faces as if they are!

Edit- okay, the grumpy part; just sent the semi-ex an sms/tekst/text/ how ever the hell you wanna call the thing!

He wants me to work as his assistant stage manager on the main stage of the HUGE Dance Valley festival. An opportunity I would love, plus it would earn me 250,- euro's... that I really need right now.
But I'm wondering if it's a good idea. If I see him I will start having feelings again, I know I will. I just want to lie low a while. He wants the answer and phoned me yesterday twice (i didn't answer) mailed me (i didn't answer), phoned me again today (i didn't answer), phoned me again now, I did answer. He asked me and I said I needed to think it over and we had to talk about it when he had time. He was on his way out now, so I hung up. He tekst me some bullshit on leaving him in the lurch, there's still 10 days till the festival, plenty of time to find someone else if I decide not to work. I find it difficult moments like these to keep my heart open and not get on the defensive. After all he's put me through with his addiction the past 2 years (Correction-> all I let myself get put through/put myself through, some lessons still to be learned). I wrote him one or two things I'm not proud off. It's better we're over, it's been poisoned. Taking shit for 2 years has turned me into a sewer

The sticky part- Hell I wish it was sex, sadly just the heat, there's a storm brewing. Thank goodness Maybe a walk in the rain would do me some good.

So, no smoking in restaurants, disco's and bars as of today! I'm a non smoker and actually don't care, in fact I'm going to be rather pleased to come home not smelling like an ashtray...but I do realize it must be quite a bummer for smokers. Also we must be the only country in the world, haha, where you can 'legally' smoke pot but illegally smoke cigs I say legally 'cause actually of course it isn't legal it's just condoned when used in small amounts.

Soooo what else will the 1st of July bring us...well I'm free today and it's going to be upwards to 30 degrees Celsius which is 87 Fahrenheit, pretty grose heat when stuck in the city I'll try and have a cycle around later this afternoon, through a park or so. Wish I had someone to go with me. Damn this semi-ex-boyfriend stuff. Damn it to hell! I'm pretty much over it/him though now. It's about time too I guess. Still, it means at some point I'll have to get myself out there again, on the "market", and you know, I must be getting old, because I really just don't feel like investing any time in to anyone else. Getting to know someone, getting to grips with someone else's baggage again and them getting used to mine is something I just don't want to go through again. I meet plenty of men, every week, and my thought every time is, ugh, don't want to go there. This is my time. Hope I just don't end up an old spinster, but if that's the way it is then I guess that's the way it should be,

-Much later edit- went to the gym again this morning, first time in a week. Felt damn fine. I have decided to make this my month of health, in following with Grayness's themed months
The reason is, that with sports alone I am not shifting these 6 pounds I really don't want to carry with me anymore. Now I eat fairly healthy, pasta, vedge, fish, fruit, some meat, not much fried food, not much sweets, not much salts, brown bread etc but.... I guess the weekend's beers aren't helping, I found out there's upwards to 350 calories on 1 beer, now on Sunday during the fantastic Spain-Germany final I had 6...that's almost your whole daily intake of calories in one 2x 45 mins

I have no alcohol problem, but I do like to drink if I'm out partying at the weekend. Now I am determined to go without for 1 month, see if I can loose at least a few pounds for my holiday to Portugal in august.

I have so many wonderful Spanish friends and it was a blast watching the European cup final with them today. I love you guys and hell fucking yeah for Spain winning and not ze Germans!

Still recovering from about 2 months of work work work and last weekends party.

Half my team had their last day today, they're on holiday now for 3 weeks....so some peace and quiet in work for me. Time to write my plans etc for the coming year (our year starts in September and finishes june) Then I'll be off in August, to Portugal, to the Boom! festival.

Anyway, signing off, going to bed again early and then yoga tomorrow and a proper update again. Promise.

What an amazing weekend I had Actually to many it would seem pretty much the same as many other weekends that I have had over the past year, but somehow I am still finding this outdoor partying and meeting so many new, beautiful, open hearted people a blast!

Of course as most of you will know this weekend was summer sostice, the longest day/shortest night of the year. To many spiritual people an important day, just as the winter solstice. For many psy-trancers a great excuse for an all night/all day party, haha
This was my third solstice party in Ruigoord, but by far the best. The sun was out and bright, there was a nice, sometimes gusty wind. Some people's tents for sleeping in blew away, but when you are dancing in the sun the breeze is very welcome. It was very busy, many new faces, but plenty of old favorites as well. Great music. Plus to top it all, the lovely Martijn was there too, whom I met for the first time. It was nice to finally meet this person I have communicated with quite often.
All in all a good day out Except for A, having a sunburn on my nose, a pretty nasty one too. Looks like a tomatoe in the middle of my face it was for some reason the only place I totally forgot to put sun screen on B, seeing one woman tripping on something so badly, she was all over the place, undressed herself completely several times, even put her foot down the toilet at one point and was trying to flush it (W.T.F.) Normally as long as someone is obviously happy I could find this behaviour quite funny. Actually I love observing tripping people, it's fascinating (I have never tripped myself and just can't imagine what they're seeing). But this lady was not happy, many people tried to help her during the hours there but she didn't want it. She was in a world of her own. By the time I left, last night at 23:30, she was dressed again and sitting on a chair pretty tired looking, Yep, she was pretty busy all day!!!

So tomorrow a huge market I organized about social activitiies, help organizations, social services etc etc in the area I work in west. There's about 12 external organizations coming. We're presenting a whole bunch of shit our organization, Cordaan, does. I've invited two schools to come by and help. Quite frankly it's going to be huge and after partying I hope things go smooothly. I'm going to work this afternoon to start prepping. Then early to bed again tonight and things should be fine.

I just deleted most my messages...Most of you's I only know by "member name" I feel so embarrassed, because perhaps I should know who you are Either way thank you so so much, please p.m. an adress so I can send you a card or a (signed) photo in return.

Anyway, weekend, I'm off to a festival in a field neer by. I was going to camp but the weather seems to not want me to. I will except the laws of nature and sleep in a dry warm bed instead and cycle there and back on the same flaming day. It's pretty far mind you! Bad bad rain!

FIrst of all I am off for my first of 2 first yoga classes. Kundulini on monday and Hatha today. I thought I'd try them both and see which method I prefer.

Edit to say, yoga was great! I have muscle aches all over though, much more than when I do a regular work out. Jeeesh, go figure, I thought yoga was real spiritual -only-, turns out it's a killer work out too yay me!
