I can relate to the sleep and work thing- it seems I've been running on 4 hours of sleep on a lot of days recently- unless I get to bed before the sun even sets. I hope you get to sleep well tonight, to make up for last night.

Sympathies over the mosquito bites- I've been having to contend with ticks, myself. I found three(!) on me (fortunately *before* they attached) after I did my watering in the garden on Sunday. Maybe I should consider wearing a flea and tick collar...

Rioting over sports is an odd thing- what I've never understood, is that here in the States, fans will sometimes riot when they *win*, as well as when they lose. I'm not sure if that happens elsewhere.

Somehow, I was never inclined to doubt that you could be a Lady, every inch.

I get about 5 hour a night now days.

I hear you, you should see how very little I hear about that whole side of the world in the news.

I have to make a point just to hear about it. And it's usually your histories not present day news

aaaa Thailand..Ik denk dat er geen dag voorbij gaat zonder dat ik het best wel mis.
Verleden jaar December ben ik 6 weken heen geweest, zonder plannen en alleen een lonely planet en een rugtas.
Wat mij het meeste aangreep was misschien nog wel Cambodja en alles wat je daar meemaakt, ziet en voelt.
Van de mooiste tempels die je ooit zal zien tot de armste kinderen en slachtoffers van de pol pot regime...

Ik kan aleen maar dankbaar zijn dat ik het heb mogen mee maken en hopenlijk (fingers crossed) ga ik weer in December heen. Want ik mis het reizen wel heel erg.

Dank je wel voor je boekentips, ik denk dat ik zo wel even naar de Himalaya ga om te kijken.
Ik kom daar altijd graag ook al is het gewoon even om binnen te lopen.

Een Boek wat ik je echt kan aanraken is: The cosmic serpent: Dna and the origins of knowledge door Jeremy Narby. Echt weer een fantastich boek wat misschien niet heel makkelijk is maar naar mijn idee wel aansluit bij de boeken die je aanraden.
