It's been a very surreal week for me. I feel like life was in pause mode for a few days.

My grandfather "pap" passed away this past Wednesday. I don't even like writing about it, but I thought I should mention since I haven't been updating. I really can't describe how much I'm going to miss him. There will never be anyone in my life like him again. It's just so weird not having him around. I can't remember a week going by my entire life without seeing or talking to him. I lived with my grandparents till I was five and then I practically lived there after that. I spent so many weekends/summers there I lost count. And on top of that he used to visit my house at least once a week too. He was the best. He gave me my first Beatles album How awesome is that?

I've been with my grandma a lot too. I feel terrible when she says how alone she feels. I just want to hang out with her all the time and try to cheer her up a little. I think I'm going to see if she wants to bake cookies this weekend.

I can only hope now that my pap still hears me if I wanna talk to him and that I make him proud.

I'll have to get a copy of my favorite older one of him. He's standing next to a new car he bought lookin' all tough. He makes me think of Johnny Cash in it for some reason.

Oh my this sucks...

I also feel really bad for my sister this past week. Not only did she lose her grandfather also, but a friend of hers committed suicide the week prior. She's been through so much and she had her dance recital and junior prom in between it all. She ended up going to her prom the night of my paps funeral because we all knew he'd never want her to miss it. She's a strong kid, and she looked beautiful as always. I'll share some prom photos to end this on a bit of a cheery note.
