I'm single again.
But the filmfestival is great. I made new friends that keep me occupied and I got some good acting jobs that will pay for the trips I need to do, to meet my new friends again.
I did the moderation and Q&A for Inside Lara Roxx and Fuck For Forest. Mia Donovan and Michal Marczak are great filmmakers and I will visit Mia in Montreal as soon as possible.
I'm so happy that all the screenings of both films have been sold out. It was well deserved.

Thanks to Elea, I realised that most of you never heard me talking. In order to change that (and to procrastinate, a little bit...) I made an accent challenge video for you.

Things are crazy at the festival office. Only three more weeks and it's finally there. I'm extremely happy to get the chance to do moderation for the first time. And I got a really good film! I'm going to interview Mia Donovan, the director of Inside Lara Roxx! I'm super exited!
Finally it's good for something that my final thesis was about porn.
Speaking of which, I think I've never posted a picture of my graduation here.
I want to share some more NYC pictures with you.
My urge to travel again is overwhelming. I was thinking about going to Comic Con and staying in LA for one more week. Or Portland maybe? What do you guys think?

First of all, the German Suicide Girls have a Facebook fan-page now. You can love us here.
I had a wonderful weekend with Stellaris and P_mod. And of course, I finally shot a new set - and something else.
Be prepared for something unexpected and awesome.
I still miss New York and try to figure out how to manage to move there. But in the meantime I applied for jobs in countries I'm actually allowed to work. Cross your fingers for me! I'm still not 100% sure what I want to do with my life, but I know that I can do many things. And I trust that I'll find my way. It would be great to do more stuff for myself though. And I want to write more, take more pictures and be more creative. It would be great to have someone to be creative with together. And I need more adventures, because

Other than working for the film festivals and applying for jobs, there is not much happening. I hang out with Agouti and her dog more often, which is awesome. I love how I found so many friends on Suicide Girls. Right now I'm sick and heavy on painkillers. But I wont complain. The painkillers take care of my scary cramps and I have time to stay in bed and watch stupid and brain relaxing tv-series.

I had a wonderful weekend with Stellaris and P_mod. And of course, I finally shot a new set - and something else.

Here I am. Back home and heartbroken.
It's 3 am and I'm struggeling with the jet lag that keeps me awake and makes me cook potatoes. My head feels like it's filled with clouds that change their consitency every hour. My heart is racing and even tough I try hard to keep to my new found resolution to think positive and trust in myself, the people around me, the world and that good things can happen to me too, the lack of sleep or too much sleep, exhaustion and confusion are working together to drive me crazy.
My two weeks vacation in New York City where a wild trip from the very beginning. I don't know how it was possible that so much and so many awesome things happend to me in such a short time. I met so many people, was part of many stories and got other ones told. I made friends, I relied on the kindness and hospitailty of strangers and was never disappointed. And of course, there was my birthday, that somehow went unnoticed on SG.
Thanks to Suicidegirls, I did a music-video shoot where I kissed a 21 year old singer in the snow while my boyfriend was throwing trashcans out of the window of an abandoned church.
The hair and makeup artist became my friend and took my friend Doug from Minneapolis in, when he came to visit. Later we stayed at her and her mums amazing loft in Williamsburg. We listend to many stories from the 70s in New York, hippie-parties, drugs and friends who died and how it was to hang out with Ed Koch and Andy Warhol. Two times I found myself drinking till the morning in an art gallery, squating on the floor, smoking cigarettes between paintings and sculptures and talking about the broken things in us.
Another day, the filmcrew invited me for dinner to a fancy korean restaurant in Manhattan where I had to take my shoes of after I walked through the cold and rainy city the whole day. After that we had drinks at a hotel bar on the 14th floor, then switched to a korean bar that had lots of hidden penis-drawings and ended up back in Williamsburg, drunk and happy at Lucky Dog. A place that soon became a regular.
Sleep was rare this two weeks. There was not enough time to live in this city and sleep. So I felt asleep in the underground, on couches and beds, during a film premier, on a chair on a rooftop, in the car and always and everytime there was time for a nap. Of course I became sick, but there is no time in the city to be sick either. I got up every morning and started to wander around and explore whatever there was to explore.
I had the best food ever in a shabby little place in Harlem and the best drink ever in a fancy little bar in Manhattan. I made new friends and one of them lives in the same city like I do. How come that we never met here?
I have tons of pictures and I'll keep some for the next blog.
The purpose of my trip was to figure out what I want to do with my life. The outcome is, I can't stay here any longer. That's nothing new. But now it's unbearable for me to stay. This city is to small and I dislike this country too much. My first priority has to be to go. I don't know where and how this is going to work, especially with my dog. But I will find a solution. I'm free now. Theoretically, I can go wherever I want. Let's see where this takes me.

Hey darlings!
I graduated. I still can't believe it's over, but it is. It just took 6 1/2 years.
Now the job-hunt begins. I really wish I would know what I want to do.
I really want to leave this country, that's for sure. But how to do this with my dog is another thing.
The first thing I did after my last exam was to change my haircolor. That means my amazing new profile picture is already old.

But if I miss her in Berlin I'll see her at a shooting in Stuttgart one week later. And on the 28th I finally leave for New York!

I graduated. I still can't believe it's over, but it is. It just took 6 1/2 years.

It's time to say goodbye to La Isla Bonita.
I will delete it next week.
It was one of my favorite sets I ever shot and reminded me of the amazing vacation with Stellaris last summer. But its time for it to go.
I had my first oral exam this week, in film studies and dramatics - and I got an A+. In fact, there is no such thing like A +, but my professor said it was a perfect A. All your finger-crossing paid off! Thanks! Two more exams to go! Two more weeks at the library, before I'm done for ever! Well, if I don't get a phd. You never know. Till Wednesday I have to fill my head with everything about African Cinema and foreign aid (which is amazingly frustrating. I don't know if I'm able to work in the field of anthropology of development anymore.)
Anyways, to reward myself for all the stress, I booked flights to New York in March! I will spend my birthday there and get fat with Hunter. Our birthdays are only a few days apart!
This is how my hair looks right now.
I love blond but I'm so deadly annoyed with roots that I decided to try my natural hair color. Its brownish, I guess.
What do you think? Is that a good idea?
