-I put a set up in the hopefuls section - SG Mural. Sean and I shot it a few months ago, and I'm not overly fond of it, so I put it up in there instead of on the front page.

Thank you everyone for so many birthday wishes, and to everyone that has checked out and commented on my new set, I'm a Marla. I definitely could not have executed that without Cymagen, so please go tell him how amazing and talented he is. It was indeed based off of the character Marla Singer from Fight Club, thus explaining the "I'm a Marla" I've had listed as my occupation in my profile the past few years.

If you haven't checked it out yet, what the fuck are you waiting for?

As for birthday celebrations, they were a plenty. I was too busy running around during it to take any photos, so you'll just have to take my word that it was indeed fabulous.

This week will find me at the Wizard World Philadelphia convention, so stop by the SG booth to say hi. I will have prints available for sale there, but if you can't make it, they are also available for purchase online.

Time for an update. I think I may just heavily saturate this with photos, and let them speak for themselves.

Firstly, there has been a new addition to the family. His name is Steve, and is just under five months old. We have discovered he may have some health problems, so we baby him more than we probably should.

Then came a visit from ZombieQueen and her man, Bob Tyrrell. Bob tattooed our other cat Chicken on my leg while they were here, and GoGo hid in ZombieQueen's hair while Nak tattooed her.

This week Nak, Rigel, and SugarKones took a little excursion out to Vegas to meet up with some friends, pool side drinks, and heavy metal cover bands.

Gold bikinis are the new black, just in case you hadn't noticed.

It also seems that I will be attending the upcoming Wizard World Philadelphia Convention next month.

That is all for now.

PS - My birthday is sooner than I thought.

I spent this past weekend in Detroit, for the 2007 Motor City Tattoo Convention. For a first, I wasn't actually working the show, and ran around all weekend.

I have also almost finished this stack of books that have been sitting on my nightstand (and then some) for the last few weeks:

I believe all I have left right now is the History of Funerary Violin and the Buffy & Philosophy book, which I forgot I had until recently.

Lastly, I'd like to introduce Steve. He'll be coming to live with Nak, Chicken, and I in a few weeks. Today we went to meet him, and I will be spending the next few weeks kitten proofing the house in preparation of his arrival.

Wisconsin was cold as fuck. I think it almost reached 10*F outside one day. Thankfully, there were only flurries of snow, and not a full on blizzard.

I believe the river frozen over in those photos is the Mississippi, which was directly across the street from my hotel.

One interesting event in Wisconsin was this little adventure:

And the finished product:

I did not tattoo the butt, but I did wear a glove when my hand was outlined on it. All I kept thinking was, "my life just keeps getting stranger".

I am currently almost out of books to read. I picked up these last week, and am more than halfway through with them already.
