Ways I got boring/lame/annoying since I left:
*I only got one more tattoo. It's a pretty cool one, I guess, but I am still fairly unmodified. Because I hate spending money on things.
*I found out I have a totally sweet autoimmune disease (ankylosing spondylitis) and so to avoid being on tons of meds for the rest of my life, I adopted the paleo diet (google it, yo) and now all I do is lecture people about how grains are not suitable foods for primates and we should all be eating evolutionarily appropriate food. I never shut up and it annoys everyone. Also, you should probably eat some herring instead of that Twinkie.
*I joined CrossFit, which is pretty much a fitness cult, and now all I talk about is "WOD this" and "AMRAP that" and my (completely unimpressive) Helen time. I would basically spend all my free time at the gym if I didn't spend it...
*Sleeping. I go to bed at, like, 10 PM. I am old. Also, I think it might make me live forever. Or something.
*I pretty much stopped drinking. Dude, I know. I miss whiskey and beer sometimes, but, man, at some point you see all the alcoholics in your life and you realize that it's not fun or cool any more. It just makes you sad.
*I graduated college at long last. This means I have fewer things to talk about that are new and instead just talk about stuff I already know or the, like, one book Im reading.
*I moved back to my hometown. Actually, Atlanta fucking rules.
*I got a real grown-up job. I run a department! I am good at my job! I just got a raise! I have an IRA! I have a sweet business card! I got to conferences! My title includes the term "strategist"!
*Still haven't finished my novel. Who sucks? This bitch!

I plan to not update this a whole lot. Because I have so much shit to do. But, you know, hey.
