i'm sure all of you Faithful Readers (tm) out there know someone or two who has the jaw-drop capability to steal words out of your mouths, turn their inchoate ideas into vast and eloquent platitudes, and spit them back out at you and deep into your brain stem. mine's named nico.

"this country scares me. we should finish school as quickly as possible and mount our diplomas on a beachside drink stand."

"the desperate need for escape has been with me since i was two. i try to grow. i just end up growing back in the same direction eventually. this planet is too small, and i'm spending too much time in one section of it."

in times like these, i dream of...

Wow. You've been to Ecuador? That would explain the Spanish thing. I knew people like that in college. Too bad it has dropped off when I entered real life. The masses just don't do that for me so much. thank goodness I have friends. you need that jaw dropping eloquence every so often. Stirring discussions with friends make me happy.

My jaw doesn't drop very often. I've heard a lot. I feel the desperate need for escape sometimes but I'm in the process of making my body my home. Escaping to a tropical paradise would be fun though.

So yeah... When you get back into town, you are hereby entitled to a free 40, six pack, bottle of wine, or bottle of liquor (whichever your preference may be). You don't even have to spend any time with me for this prize (other than saying, "oh, hey, how's it going... can i have my alcohol now?" or something of the sort). This is simply my way of saying, "Wow, she is cool, hot, cute, and kicks ass. She should get a prize."

Oh, wait... I mean, you're not 21... So, I'll buy you a "non"-alcoholic beverage... Yeah, that's it.

But yeah, you know how to get in touch with me, so if you would like such a treat after you get back into town, drop me a line. If not, tell me to fuck off.

And either way, have a wonderful morning/day/evening (depending on when you read this).

I agree with the latter statement. It seems to me, occasionally, that I´ve overestimated the need of a rock to roll.wink

...so I´m packing my rucksack next week again...

I feel less need to escape these days. I escaped, found what I was looking for, and now I'm not so afraid any more. The planet is small, but there will always be time enough.
