Is it really the phone though? I have a LG that does that every once in awhile....

I am on Verizon, and they have been amazingly good, but I have had two instances where there was no "missed call" or anything message and there was a voice mail I missed.

A friend of mine has problems with her RAZR as well, she threw it in a puddle by accident, got another RAZR and it still fucks up on her. Calls keep dropping and bad reception is to blame for her RAZR woes.

That fucking blows! I'm surprised as the Razor is supposed to be a pretty well made product. I'd sue Motorola...

I used to have a Sony Ericsson and i remember one time i left my keys inside my car, so i was trying to call my Dad to pick me up, but i was not able to make clear calls and i couldn´t even send a message at that time. Not to mention that the bloody cell phone was full of signal. So i gave up and after a long while, i went to a mall (walking) looking for a phone booth.

You had a very frustrating and disappointing experience, but the phone simply displays what's sent to it. I've heard this story many times and it means that the service provider is doing a rotten job and the RAZR is just the messenger you should not shoot. Go after the perpetrator. (Don't shoot him either, just for the record!) A pie in the face could be nice, though.

Oh! How i loved that old good home-phones!!!! The ones with the numbers on a disk!!! They surely gave less problems!!
The worst problem i had with cell phones is to send sms to the wrong person... The problem is that generally this happens with sms that this person DOESN'T HAVE to read!!!
For example: I write an sms for ELISA. She asked me: "What do you think about SILVIA?". And I: "She's cute, but a little strange!".... Message sent to...SILVIA!!! DOH!!!!

Stood right next to someone with my RAZR while he rang me, so I could store his number... Full signal... Nothing. Got a missed call alert 3 hours later!

Motorola = Fucking Really Rubbish. and I sell 2nd hand RaZRs on eBay so that's official! had the bugger almost 2 years & I still cant find anything cos the menus so shit (that or I'm a bit thick...)
