Nostalgia, a horribly comforting feeling. Happy memories are so much sadder than sad memories, and I can't help but become despondant when I look back on my childhood. Memories like these always feel so close, like it was yesterday but you know it will never happen again.
Thanks for your nice words on both mine and my sister's photography. My older sister is very good behind the camera as well, it must run in the blood.
I just took some new photographs of myself on timer yesterday, and I think these are my favorite bunch yet! The photograph in my profile was my favorite until these. Here is one of them (I hope you don't mind that I post it in your journal!) There are others I uploaded in my PICS folder.
Glad you like this pict. You hould be able to right-click it (or option click it if you're using a mac) and choose "Save IMAGE to disc" or somesuch. If you want to use this one as a profile you can edit your SG preferences, and browse to where you save the pic. It's already the right size.
