Hey everyone,
It's been awhile since I've written a proper blog update, and for that I apologize. I am finally finished with school for this semester until late January, so I'm looking forward to (maybe) having a normal life for awhile! I want to slow down but never seem to follow through with that plan. With the extra free time I have, I am catching up on some painting and art projects that I'll post pics of as soon as they're done. What's new?
I got my very first Christmas tree, which I plan on putting up and decorating tonight... no, it's not a real tree. If I did get a real tree I would have to worry about my iguana getting to it, and the radiator in my living room singeing the hell out of it prior to Christmas, and having to vaccum hundreds of pine needles. So, yes, I am perfectly content with my faux tree for now, I can't wait to have it fully lit and decorated so I can sit on my couch and enjoy it while drinking some (spiked) eggnog. I'm also making a yummy vegetable lasagna tonight.
I can't wait to shoot a new set... I really need to get on that! There are so many great sets coming up in MR that I am excited for. The queue has been amazing lately. Kudos to everyone on staff for the awesome choices that have been going on the front page. I really enjoy the variety. I'm not sure what my next set will be about, but I'm already swimming with ideas. Okay.. I'm off to begin prepping my sauce-usually I have to stand on a stool to reach the pot because I'm so short and the sauce pot is so tall... I need to get a photo of that. It's fucking freezing outside and I hate it-but I'm going to make the best of it and enjoy the season.
