Anyone have any tips on gaining weight? Everything i google is about body building, but i need body fat! I could see how this may be an annoying post to some, but i really need to gain some weight. So if you're going to give me some jackass response, please just pass on by to the next blog. Thank you.

I've always tried to do the opposite but I think that carbs work. Like noodles and breads ? I'll keep an eye out for info for ya. Good luck !

My best friend is naturally around 90lbs. and when she lost a lot of weight after getting her tonsils taken out, she drank a lot of milkshakes to gain it back.

tuna, salmon, flax, and walnuts. Good sources of protein include lean meats, fish, poultry, nuts, seeds and legumes. Healthy carbohydrate sources include fruits, vegetables and whole grains.

That is the route id go,good healthy omega fatty acids, as im assuming you don't want to eat unhealthy, just gain weight. some dietary supplements that weight trainers use wouldn't be all bad either.

high (good quality) fat foods. lots of nuts and avocados. mmm chips and guacamole! coconut oil and coconut milk and cream. also amaranth (its a grain similar looking to quinoa, but smaller and makes a good porridge type food) is supposed to be good for weight gain. i like it with rice milk and agave or maple syrup and cinnamon. i think when gaining weight its important to do it with healthy foods in a healthy way so you still feel good and have good energy levels. also so you dont get sick. hope it helps!

Shakes are the right idea. You can drink calories a lot more quickly and easily than eating them.

Hopefully something as obvious as eating more carbs helps you out... but that's all i got. I have the opposite of your problem so I avoid most carbohydrates and they don't normally cause you to break out or anything! Also start watching either OZ or Weeds... I don't want to get off the couch for days after i start watching them... you're sure to put on a few pounds!

ummm I used to need help gaining weight hardcore... but I had problems with eating all the food I would get to full


so.... I would get protein shake supplement, or another protein drink and blend it with my favorite ice cream in a blender and drink about 2-4 of them a day
and then eat before I went to sleep in addition to eating what I could during the day



my rapid weight loss stopped and I finally started to not look like skelitor anymore

That's when I gained weight though seriously! But truthfully my dad has cancer and he had dropped about 35-40 lbs and we had to put weiht back on him so we made him have a daily milkshake, and he had a lot of tortillas and other bread stuffs.

I have the same problem as Im hypoglycemic so I dont hold weight well either. You could try McDonalds once and while I hate the shit but it does stick to the bones.....uhm those protein bars work too...carbs help as wellsmile

You can actually use the protein drinks that are meant for body builders...if you aren't working out religiously and body building, they will just add fat weight. (I was underweight for the army and this is what I had to do.) Also, try high caloric drinks (i call em old folks drinks) like Ensure. These work wonders, too.
