Erin, you're too smart to be pouting all the time. I know that you're trying to find a genuine friend to connect with, but if any of the many many other people who read your journal all the time like myself are genuine like I am, then you're just not letting the right people in.

There's a balance between loyalty and spontaneity. Stop being attracted to flakes who only live in the moment. As beautiful as they may look, they won't be there for you when you need them.

I work in television so I've experienced a lot of this in the last couple of years.
