I'm 23 and I have never gone to college.
I gave up long ago of ever doing anything with my life.
It's easy to feel unimportant in a world where everyone is constantly trying to prove themselves better than you by making sure you can't feel important enough.
All of these people are watching their backs, looking, waiting, on me to try and take their jobs, but I don't want their crummy jobs.
I want to go to school and get out of retail.
It's not too late, despite the looks I receive.
An associate degree is my goal for now.
Start small, start feasible.
Things like loans, grants and scholarships seem so scary.
Debt sounds scary.
Full-time job/full-time student sounds scary.
Then I remember one of my best friends for the past 7 years is named Scary and I know I can do this.
I just haven't been able to get out of winter's funk.
I'm most definitely a spring and summer kind of gal so the warm weather has me getting out of my dreary little apartment and into the world.
We've taken the dogs to a local creek a couple times this week.
Getting Ellie to be nice to people is proving a challenge but as long as we keep her restrained I don't honestly care about the looks we're given. The people in the town are all snobby, too good for the rest of their county, folk anyway.
Other than all this life has just been normal and boring.
I did a pretty funny Skyrim based sundies yesterday on instagram, well, it made me laugh!

Good luck with your studying. Never let anybody make you feel they're better than you. You are a smart, sexy lady and you can do anything you want to do.
You've actually shown great wisdom in waiting until you're a bit older before studying. This shows you're more mature and you won't make the mistakes that teenagers make.

Of course you can do it. Don't pay attention to what others think. The are irrelevant to your journey 
As far as 23 being to old....NO WAY. I went back to school at 39 and reinvented myself.
