As for me today i went to class only to remember that the professor had cancled todays class. ha im such a dork. I stayed anyway and got all my homework done for the rest of the week so i could get on here later!
Bad news is, i realized today my set will not be ready in October. For one, it will be the middle of the semester and right after Matthew leaves. Secondly I can readily admit that I HIGHLY underestimated how much work is put into a good quality set and frankly, I won't have the time to devote to it until around December. Lastly, I have yet to talk to my husband about it. I doubt he'll care. We take private sex pictures as it is and even though it's understood that neither one of us would ever show those... this is very artistic, not sexual. I realize it IS sexy but it's not porn is my point. ha I think if it's classy, shot by a woman, and i get paid, he'll be okay with it. And ya know... I grew up with VERY conservative parents, who, to this day will say the most hurtful things if i go against their judgement. I waited so long to be in my own house with my own rules. I'm certainly not going to go from living under my daddy's rules to living under my husband's rules. Fuck that. I will sincerely consider his point of view and his opinion, but at the end of the day I need to do what makes me happy and honestly I think going pink would be the most freeing, liberating thing in the world.

By the way speaking of my parents and their conservative views.. they literally called me a horrible mother because I have a snake. Evidently snakes are "of the devil and very dangerous" Umm let's see... if they're of the devil then how did they survive the flood? (arguing from a biblical point of view that is)So God drowns the sinful humans but lets the devil creatures survive? I don't think so. Secondly Bellatrix is NOT dangerous to me or my child. For shit's sake, shes a NEWBORN and barely takes up my palm. I'm more afraid of my daughter hurting her! Thirdly her cage is out of reach and has two child safety locks. And lets say for arguments sake that she got out; she isn't big enough to hurt Ava and wouldn't be interested in hurting her regardless! She's shy to begin with! Lastly, Bellatrix will get to be 4ft long at her biggest and that will be years from now. At which point Ava will be big enough to say "Mommy help." or "Mommy Trixie got out." Honestly my parents think I just make flippant decisions with no regard to my child when in fact it's the opposite. She is the first thing I think of! I already has a full grown ball python when i found out I was pregnant. Even then, before I even met my daughter I knew my pet had to go. I made arrangements at 2 months pregnant. How could they say such a hurtful thing to me? I also asked Ava's doctor, the pet store, and researched the topic of having a small breed of snake with a young child. They all said it is fine. I guess my feelings are just really hurt. Another hurtful thing they said is that snakes dont have feelings. They do! Trixie snuggles, plays, and even gets angry. How can they argue for the rights for a dog and a fetus but turn their backs on reptiles? Not to mention my dad had a python when he was a kid! Hypocritical? And im an awesome mother....fuckers. ugh... I'm frustrated....
