First blog of the new year!!
Happy 2012 SG Land!!



First off, I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who commented on Slicked and got it to the Front Page a couple weeks ago! I found out it was queued Christmas Day and it was such a lovely little Festivus miracle! Hearing it was going up after almost 6 months in MR was kinda unbelievable (in the best possible way)! So, yes!! Thank you to everyone who ever commented and of course thank you SG!! :3



Writeboy and I actually got together again not too long ago and shot our third set together, so hopefully that will be in the queue soon for all your viewing pleasure!! I'll be sure to share a few previews with you guys when that happens

That said, it's a new year (Thank the lord!) and there's so much to report already.

I've started doing yoga on a regular basis. My inspiration is my elder sister whose body now looks like it's been chiseled by the Gods themselves(she's been practising almost every day for the past 3 years now), and I'm envious. I won't lie. Besides building up muscle and helping me tone up, It's really helped to lift my mood and put my mind at ease. The goal is to go 3-4 times a week. So far I've been sticking with it!! I can't wait til I start getting good....

My New Years was sadly a trainwreck! I ended up in the hospital, and sadly not even because of getting too drunk or partying too hard -- but because my stomach ulcer started bleeding and I was in a ridiculous amount of pain. Ringing in the New Year alone in a public hospital was not high up there on my 'How I want to spend my NYE list' but yknow, at least I'm okay, and at least it wasn't anything more serious! And in case any of you are wondering, yes I'm okay now Thank you!

My sister is also back in LA and so I'm now without my better half here in Hong Kong, and I really miss her company. I feel like I'm going a little stir crazy, and have really been looking forward to heading back to the UK, and my cozy little apartment....That is, until I recieved word from my landlord yesterday that he is selling my flat. FML.

This means I have to fly back, stick all my shit in storage, and then start looking for a new apartment. Argh! I've lived at my little abode for the past 4 years, so even though sometimes I complain about wanting a change, it's all a little bittersweet. I'm going to miss my place so much! But I'm trying to focus on the positives. I'm gonna look for a new apartment with lots of natural lighting and maybe even a balcony too (if I can afford it...hahaha!) More on that as it happens though!!

I made my first ever gingerbread house with my sister for Christmas last year :3 She totally made that tree in the window out of gumdrops. Girls got skillllll!


went out for drinks at a smokey bar and one too many lychee martinis made for a pretty horrific hangover the next day...





headed to a power yoga class with my sister on Christmas Day (I snapped this shot of her warming up at home beforehand)....


...which helped me feel a little less guilty about eating a big slice of this pumpkin cheesecake I had baked the for christmas pudding! :3

which every year, without fail (and with some whiskey induced inspiration) turn into nipples. My sister was the first to revive this tradition...

The other day I did a bit of exploring with Redefine00, and we visited the HK Botanical gardens...the koi pond is epic!!

We also hit up the arcade and took sticker photos and I pretty much wanted every toy you could play for, but lack the necessary skills at crane games to get one.


The best part of the day however was when we were super stoned and were oohing and aahing over a newly opened chocolate store. The lady who worked there kindly offered us a free sample of chocolate each, 'it's milk chocolate' she told us, 'from belgium'. I ate mine without even looking at it, and suddenly redefine00 smacked me accross the chest and told me to look at the piece of chocolate she had been handed...I died.



Um. Yup. That's definitely people giving each other head you're looking at. Straight up. We named it sex chocolate, and she refuses to eat it. It's a thing of beauty. Lol.



Finally, the other week I took a trip down memory lane, and revisited some old pictures of me from when I was 19. I feel like such a different person now...does this look familiar to any of you ??


I think I look pretty similar, but with better eyebrows now, and less exciting hair. Please don't tell me I look older, I don't want to hear it. Hahaha

Well, that's it from me for tonight! I'm off to bed and tomorrow I'm gonna be watching The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo! Kinda stoked guys!!!
