so much stuff going on lately...
on the birght side, i now have a tentative contract with a consulting firm in australia.
this is good! ive been eating a few hours for this contract so far by choice. its been
a while since i had a really good gig and i think this is going to turn out to be. i am
eating hours as a calculated loss because i want to put forth the best possible
product i can in order to get *more* work later. besides that, doing design work
for me isnt work at all. its really fun for me and i like doing it quite a bit. so,
the wheel of fortune goes round and round.
in other developments, ive been working really hard at developing myself and
enriching all of my relationships while creating new ones as best i can. ive
started a really cool book called non violent communication. its deep,
vast, extremely useful and requires effort to re-program how i think and
thus how i speak to others. some of the concepts i think approach
neurolinguistic programming but that maybe just part of the overlap.

in summary, theres lots of shifting and growth happening in my life and ive
learned and still am learning a great deal. i am happy.
winter is generally dreary but ive had some light shining from
the inside out.

glad that you are happy, and best wishes with the long term possibility of your Australian contract. It's always great to have a good gig!
Winter's here aren't dreary........we have bright bright sunny days, especially when it's -30C. Glad you got the light shining from the inside out!

I hope the contract works out. I didn't realize you had violent communication tendencies. 
Self-evaluation and enrichment is usually good. Unless it's something weird. I generally don't see winter as being dreary. I like the variety it provides to the rest of the year. And I'm fond of the sheer number of shades of gray.
