I think a large part of the problem is that people tend to get tattoos based on what they look like up close and isolation, but other people usually see them from a distance and not in isolation. A lot of tattoos look too busy and muddled from a distance, especially when there's no "white space" to set them off.
Because most tatoos are the result of an impulsive, chemically-induced decision. My apologies in advance if you're talking about one of yours and you were sober when you got it.
Some people carry off Tattoos really well. There's a real art and thoughtfulness to the design... I think now that Tattoos are so pervelent in society that the uniqueness and novelty has worn off.... and there's more tattoo artists, as it's become a lucrative field of artistry so the quality of the art has dropped right off.
Boob jobs on the other hand are just awful... Why do women get them? And why do some men really think they're cool?
