LeParisien (French newspaper) "The First baby of the year, in Auvergne, has two mommies!!"
AbbeGrosJean (Catholic Priest) "Dear Journalists, quick reminder of your biology classes, a baby can't have two mothers, he has one mother and the mother has a partner".
Eric Fallourd (From the "Ecologie" (left) party in France, works at the Assembly): "When you believe a story where a virgin woman gives birth to God's child, you're not allowed to talk about biology classes."

Our deputees started to discuss and work on the gay marriage laws, and most of right-wing ones are simply acting like children. And I'm not even talking about the misogynist behaviours. This is so disgusting to see how these people, elected to represent the country, are acting right now. And on the first day, the Parlement rapporteur received some poo by the mail. Great. Mature. Bravo.
On a lighter note, I realized my constant talking about equality, human rights, sexism, and all intersectional issues sometimes have a real impact. A bunch of customers told me they were now more careful about how other people are treated, and one guy I tattooed recently wrote me a touching email to tell me he felt for me when he saw all the protests and the homophobic crowds on the media. He made my day.
My bestie Opale in Enchantee... That was a heck of a weird night at the Hotel Amour, you wouldn't believe me.
In LA I had the chance to meet the gentleman DarrylDarko, and I think I dropped my clothes off for the good cause, the importance of being..... whatever. Tell me how you like that girly side of me !
Once again I convinced AnnaLee to impersonate another mythical creature and threw her in icy water to be Nimue. That's how I treat my beloved friends. She needs support and reward for actually do it with no complain.
So, why does time fly by as you get older? When you are younger, you have more novel, new experiences. You see your mother for the first time. You learn your first language. Everything around you is new information. When the brain puts together these new details, they seem slower when you look back on them. When you age, your understanding of the world is larger. But because you are constantly surrounded by the usual family, school and experiences, details aren't taken in so intricately. This makes entire days seem like fleeting moments!
According to this psychological diagram, if you turned 80 - looking back, the middle of your life will appear to be your 20's!
Moral of the story: Do something new every day to make your life seem longer and richer.
Maman et Tata sont les premiers mots que j'ai appris en lieu et place de maman papa.
« Si on te demande je suis ta tante. »
C’était logique, tellement logique quand on y pense.
While I think protesting, petitioning, and marching for equality are incredibly important, so is the grassroots stuff like you talking to your customers and effecting an actual change in their lives and mindsets. I think that's awesome.
Your photography looks beautiful in the new book.
And that's really cool about customers telling you that just you talking about your views and informing... it makes a difference.
On the "Call Me Maybe" lip synch, look at the way the men react versus how the women react; it's actually strikingly different.
When you consider how most priests, especially in the US, react to same-sex couples having a child, Grosjean's comment on the twitter feed is actually quite tame, but I grew up too exposed to other people and cultures to be bigoted, and my family and I have had our own struggles. Some anti-______ (insert any persecuted group) individuals are so adamant and steadfast in their bigotry that I feel the only way they'll understand others is to spend a day as that other person. A few would still cling to their prejudices, even after that.
It looks like I have a lot to look forward to, set-wise. I've already seen DarrylDarko's set of you and it's a wonderful set.
Who is the old man encouraging me to continue with my art? The website name is cut off.
You can probably stretch out that ever shrinking band of experiences if you do one simple thing: learn something every day. Experiences make us who we are; the more we learn and expose ourselves to, the more data we have to process, and we're more likely to retain that data, because something new always sticks with you. (I'm not a psychiatrist, but I can fake it adequately.)
