the real me
DATE: Feb 1, 2009 PHOTOGRAPHER: Brooklyn
“Donning my Red Sox jacket, a scarf, and a pair of jeans, Brooklyn and i braved the cold of the NC winter and set off on our adventure to discover this very old bridge. Far off the road and deep in the woods we found what we were looking for. Pisgah Covered Bridge is one of NC's two remaining covered bridges its enveloped in romantic tags and was a great backdrop for my set. It was SUPER DUPER cold outside, but we had so much fun shooting it we barely noticed the chill. The only real indications of how cold it really was by shooting are my purple legs and progressively getting chapped lips. haha. This set showcases the more everyday "real me" and i hope you love it as much as i do.”

“ The SuicideGirls Phenomenon is optimistic, it is a living, breathing, expression of youth culture right now... A lifestyle brand for Generation Y in the way Playboy was a cultural beacon for the swinging bachelors of the 1960's and 70s. ”
