Sooo big news! I will be cutting the ribbon at a shop opening.
My artist Mike Godley is moving his shop into downtown Oshawa, and changing the name. It will now be known as the Lost Anchor.
Its gunna be a huge shindig! I think I will actually be cutting the ribbon with a chainsaw.... not too sure yet but Im very excited about it! weeha! Theres gunna be a sideshow and contests and tonnes of fun stuff!
So, If you would like to come out and party with us, the details of the event are as such:
12noon ribbon cutting
sideshow/music/food and drinks 12-7
than it shall kick off at 10 at the Karma with bands contest and a sideshow.....and a whole lot of booze
the address is 25 simcoe st S (beside Fazios restaurant)

alrighty so as nerdy as it is, for some reason today I decided to read my horoscope....not really sure why, it's been a pretty lazy morning.
this is what I got:

It got me thinking though, so I started doing some research on my zodiac sign....apparently these guys got the memo and its a little unnerving because I fit my zodiac to a tee, down to my favorite colour....weird? a lil. So me being ultra nerdy I have decided to learn more about the zodiac and so forth, maybe a lil about myself too...Im not religious in the slightest, but its kinda nice to have something to believe in....

Canada just printed 500,000 copies of the Canadian study guides for those applying for citizenship.
To become a Canadian Citizen you need to study this document and then pass a test based on the material it contains.
Well, it seems Jason Kenney got his panties in a knot and refused to allow any mention of gay rights and the legalization of gay marriage in Canada. Now, dont get me wrong Im not some raging-extremest-lesbian, I just feel that the fact that we are the only country in the world that allows same sex marriages and recognizes them is sort of a big deal.
Correct me if Im wrong.

...And uhm can we just take a monute to celebrate another gold medal?! boooyah babay! I sorta wanna marry Crosby for saving our asses last night!
My boy Jake and I went out last night to grab a pint and I could not get over the people on the street, I can only imagine what Vancouver was like last night. There were cops battoning people and there were kids driving around in their moms mini vans with the side doors wide open and friends hanging out waving flags and jerseys.
They even closed down the main drag fpr an impromptu drunken parade.
God Bless Canadian fans!

And I am home alone at her place....contemplating what sort of trouble I can get in.
I think I may go and entertain myself in her bed for a while, then watch some L word.
