You sound in fine fettle*, even if you have been tempted back to these shores, and you look well. Great news about your tattoo decision, have you made an appointment with Saira? I don't know how busy she is but Mo's schedule was pretty crazy as far as how busy he was. I keep meaning to take some photos now its all healed but my camera is with a load of my other stuff in storage, hopefully sort something soon though. I look forward to see what you have dreamt up, is it your own design?

I've had a few changes of late. I've moved into a new home, well a small studio flat, and have been spending the last few weeks DIMing and I have invested some £s into woodworking kit to build furniture to fit the particular (and by "particular I mean small) dimensions. My biggest change though happens in late September .... no, not becoming a woman, I am going back to school/university to study exercise, health and nutrition. I actually got confirmation this morning that my application for student finance is all sorted and approved. I'm going to keep working part-time on a casual basis to start with so I won't be the layabout student I had dreamed of becoming but I have fingers crossed for the future.

I hadn't realised my back was famous .... bit of a cheeky shot. I think that was a couple of weeks after the last session, so not completely healed.

So, going back to school is the new .....? Something. I considered psychology, East London Uni do an extended degree and they used to run a "taster" course which I attended a few years back. I think I would only have been interested in psycho analysis/psychotherapy though and the good stuff's really only open to proper Drs who do psychology training after they've already graduated as Drs. Still an interesting field, especially if you're into traffic calming and getting kids to get their mums to buy sweets while they shop at Tescos. I'll get to do a little sports pschology and related stuff with my course.

I think the medical training etc is required because they can prescribe mind whammying drugs and other stuff like that. There are lots of "suprisingly" practical uses for psychology. I've done a few clinical drugs trials in the past and, chatting with some of the psych staff attached, it can be a pretty varied field for research etc. Chatting with the recently graduated ones might not be the best idea as I think they had ideas about being the next Hanibal Lector but wound up studying the effects of converging white painted lines on slowing motorists approaching roundabouts and junctions.

Cool pics indeed. I'm doing okay, inching toward the goals as always, hoping to one day make it to London and stand among the gods of Broken Beat (or just have one of them play my songs) . Yeah but the software thing is more pressing as always. Good to have your pretty face around to harmlessly crush on again *grin*.

And the only thing I keep coming up with when I ponder WWJND is "kick a hobo", but he might if there were demons in him and kicking him would get them out. So I'm out of ideas there, for now.
