I just heard about it too. It's sad that people glamorize hard drug use; and it doesn't even matter when they totally ruin their career and/or family, because people will then glamorize that the person died young.
Definitely a sad end for a talented woman. But she was on a public downward spiral for some time, and apparently had no one around her who was able to help keep her from the darkness. She died of a disease, but there's always more to the story than just alcohol and drug abuse.
On the other hand, the 88+ kids who were slaughtered in Norway yesterday didn't even have a chance. They had no control of their destiny, their future was stolen from them. Who knows what talents they had for the world?
