Today I shot a new set with d23. He is a really cool dude, and an awesome photographer. I shot with him a while back when I was visiting L.A., just for some portfolio work, and it was nice to work with him again. If you ever do get the chance to shoot with him, I highly recommend it. He is very easy going, and totally chill.
So be on the look out for a new MR set from me soon!
I'm also exited because I might be the new drummer for Nihilist Cunt. This will be my first time playing in a serious band. I have bee playing the drums since I was 8, and have jammed with a ton of different musicians, but never found anyone who was as serious about it as me.
I have a week to learn all of their songs, because they want me to play a show with them this Saturday in Oakland.
Well, I'm going to go roll up a spliff and watch Brother's War. Catch ya Later!

After watching some of that Nihilist Cunt video... The bass/guitar riff in the song starting at 3:00 is almost IDENTICAL to a a song by Knucklehead, a local Calgary punk band. Compromise California on the album Voice Among Us. http://www.audiolunchbox.com/album?a=192251 If you care, there's a preview on that site. Hit FWD a couple of times until it's in the track info box. Who knows how I picked that one up, I haven't listened to those guys in years. Went to that CD release show in '01 too

Well, that band desperately needs a better drummer for sure...
And maybe you can teach the singer some stage presence
