I have been really bad at updating due to the fact that I haven't had internet for the last couple of weeks.
The good news is I moved into my VERY OWN apartment and I am now back online.
Here are some pics of my cute little slice of paradise...
This is how it looked as I moved in, it is furnished..

Pretty ceiling..

It is so cute, in the heart of Tel Aviv with a great view of the city from my window.
Things have been really great and I have settled in well.
My friends and I organised a Zombie Walk for Purim recently (Purim is the closest thing to Halloween in Israel, its so fun. For the whole week people dress up.)
Here are some pictures..

It was such a huge success we made The Times, The Washington Post AND a Reuters news network were there covering the entire event.
In other news you will find me twice in this months issue of VIXXEN magazine, I did a fashion spread and also an article about my adventures so far.
My set Choke is still in Member Review, thank you so much to everyone who has commented so far.
Each and every comment brings a smile to my face, I have not managed to thank each of you personally for reasons I mentioned above but please know I am so grateful for your wonderful feedback.
I am nearly on 500 comments and I really want this set to go live so if you haven't seen it yet, please check it out and give it some love if you feel so inclined.

You can find me on facebook here
Lots of love.

I know its been a while, things have been very busy so I apologise for the lack of updates.
Well, after much preperation and many farewell parties I find myself in Israel, happy as a kid in a candy store.
Everything is so new and exciting, people, food, bars, clubs, smells, sights ~
Here are a few pictures of my adventures from the beginning.

Tel Aviv here I come!!

The longest check in queue ever, it took me four hours ... I was 19 kilos overweight and I absolutely HAD to make a plan to get everything through so I spent some time finding two people who were underweight enough for us to check in together and get all my luggage through.
I learned in packing my entire life into 60kgs that books are more important that shoes, I left behind practically all my shoes so I could have my precous books with me.

My dad came to see me!!
It was the first time I've seen him in two and a half years <3
Some sights....

The beautiful Tel Aviv

Old Jaffa

The Western Wall

This is at a wishing bridge in Old Jaffa, it is said if you stand by your horiscope and look at the sea your wish will come true.

I went jeeping in the desert, that is the Dead Sea in the background

All in all it has been a smooth ride with a couple of bumps in the road.
I am very happy here, I suppose it is all very romantic for me still as it is so new.
I miss my friends terribly but I am meeting great new people and having an amazing time so far.
In other news I got some great new fan art from Rydell

Please go give some love to Tarion's new set it is so gorgeous.
Also give some love to the gorgeous Skyla with her new set
Also my gorgeous friend Aeson is the editor for a great online mag called Vixxen and she has asked me to do a monthly column called ' A South African Suicide Girl in Israel - A Travellers Guide' so I will let you know when the first one is up.
I also did a shoot for SOS MC (sons of satan motorcycle club)
I only have one image so far, I will post the rest when I get them.
Sometimes life presents you with few choices. The hand of fate casting the dies of your life. It's at these times that character is defined. The choice to keep the gas on or shut her down. To push for the podium or settle for the top five. These are the choices we have in life. This is Death or Glory.

Thats it for now.
Lots of love

What is this puzzle I keep refering to you ask?
Well for those of you who haven't been following my blog I have been through a huge life change recently.
I was with him for five and a half years, we were engaged to be married.
It was all I ever wanted.
Its amazing how in a day your whole life can turn around.
We had a rather dramatic break up and next thing I knew I was on a plane to Israel.
My amazing sister (I don't know what I would do without her) was vacationing there at the time and she heard what happened and booked me on the next flight, three days after we broke up.
Pictures of my Israel trip here
I was so confused by the situation, emotions all over the place. Up, down, left, right. Whirlwind.
I didn't know what to do, how I could live on my own for the first time ever. (Enter puzzle)
Untill one day about a week and a half into the trip I told my sister I am going for a walk in Tel Aviv.
I just walked and walked, taking in the hustle and bustle of the city.
The smells, the people, the energy.
After about three hours of walking I sat on a bench and felt peace for the first time.
Real, inner quiet.
I realised then that I had to be in Tel Aviv.
I know it may seem like a totally impulsive decision but the truth is that the first time I was in Israel last year June/July I knew I wanted to live there, so I suppose it was a rekindled romance walking through the streets of Tel Aviv.
That was it, decision was made.
I got home and made all the arrangements, on my first meeting with the Aliyah department I was booked on a flight on 28 Dec 2009.
It was such a smooth easy process that I just knew it was the right choice.
My mom always told me that if life is a struggle you are on the wrong path.
When things just fall into place, you know you have made the right choice.
It has been a hard time for me with lots of ups and downs but in my heart I know I am doing the right thing.
This is how I solved my puzzle.
Trust in myself was the biggest lesson I learned here.
Finding that place of calm was the answer for me.
Check out my set, Rubicks Cube and see how I solve my puzzle in the form of pictures shot by the talented Miss Talamia.

I hope you like looking at them as much as I liked making them.
Thank you to everyone who has commented so far, each and every comment makes me smile

So my sister heard about F and I breaking up and she happened to be vacationing in Israel at the time so she whisked me off to Israel on the very next flight for a three week healing vacation. Is she the best sister or what??
Some pictures:
The view from our hotel in Tel Aviv.

This was taken by the entrance to the Western Wall in the Old City, Jerusalem.

Peoples hopes and dreams in the Western Wall, mine are there somewhere.

Milky!! my favourite, its chocolate pudding at the bottom and cream at the top. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....

Got to meet the gorgeous Wendy Suicide

I got a new tattoo, it translates 'The only constant is change'

I fell totally, utterly in love (for the second time) with the gorgeous coastal city of Tel Aviv

So much so that I have decided to move there.
I would have to start my life over here anyway so I may as well start over there.
Things have moved so quickly its as if a path has been cleared before me and I am just meant to be in Israel.
Its a huge decision, mostly I feel really strong about it. Occasionally though I feel sheer terror at the thought of leaving the place I have lived my whole life, my friends and family.
I have a one way ticket booked on 28 Dec

On another note I have some new pics for you

Dear F.
You and I met when I was 12 and you were 14.
We fell in love back then as much as two passionate young teenagers could.
We lost our virginity to each other.
Our song growing up was Metallica Nothing Else Matters.
We broke up only to re unite 10 years later.
We got engaged five years after that.
I really thought you were the one.
We loved each other so much for so long.
It pains me that it is over even though I know it can't work.
I think I need to start a new life, move to Israel.
On my own, for the first time since I was 16 to show myself what I am capable of.
I have been so up and down in the last few days, kissed a couple of boys, gotten black out drunk and gotten tonsilitis due to totally over doing it.
I need to rampage but I also need to calm down and find my center.
I think Israel is the place for me.
I find it so comfortable here.
The people are amazing, the medditeranian is gorgeous, the food is the best I have ever had and because I am jewish it will be easy for me to get in.
I think I want to be here by the end of the year.
Please send me lots of love and hugs, I need it. I am really fragile at the moment.
