It's almost two years since I left my beloved South Africa so I thought I'd dedicate a blog to my homeland.
What I miss most:
My friends, some are on SG:
The beautiful Hadess
The amazingly talented Talamia and miss Lynx
Miss LaTara
Tarion, Hadess and I sharing a loving moment
Last but not least, my bestie for life Voodou
I miss my South African music
I miss:
Good curry
Good chinese food
Braai (bbq)
Swimming pools ( I have a beach but it's not the same)
My favourite place in the country
Beauty...
The world at its best
I miss smiling at a person you don't know and saying hello on the street (common practice in S.A)
Howzit! (hello)
Lekker! (cool)
Biltong (South African cured meat, similar-but MUCH better than jerkey)
There is so much more that I miss.
I am so happy here in Tel Aviv and have built a great life for myself, full of love and happiness.
I will always miss SA though.
You can take the girl out of Jozi but you can't take Jozi out of the girl.
Before I go, give my hometown girl Pyke some love on her set
This lady is so beautiful and sweet, she is super active on the site and totally deserves to go pink.

SA definitely misses you I would offer to send you some billtong, but I don't think it will get passed customs... *sigh*
