What is this puzzle I keep refering to you ask?

Well for those of you who haven't been following my blog I have been through a huge life change recently.
I was with him for five and a half years, we were engaged to be married.
It was all I ever wanted.

Its amazing how in a day your whole life can turn around.

We had a rather dramatic break up and next thing I knew I was on a plane to Israel.
My amazing sister (I don't know what I would do without her) was vacationing there at the time and she heard what happened and booked me on the next flight, three days after we broke up.
Pictures of my Israel trip here

I was so confused by the situation, emotions all over the place. Up, down, left, right. Whirlwind.
I didn't know what to do, how I could live on my own for the first time ever. (Enter puzzle)
Untill one day about a week and a half into the trip I told my sister I am going for a walk in Tel Aviv.
I just walked and walked, taking in the hustle and bustle of the city.
The smells, the people, the energy.
After about three hours of walking I sat on a bench and felt peace for the first time.
Real, inner quiet.
I realised then that I had to be in Tel Aviv.

I know it may seem like a totally impulsive decision but the truth is that the first time I was in Israel last year June/July I knew I wanted to live there, so I suppose it was a rekindled romance walking through the streets of Tel Aviv.

That was it, decision was made.
I got home and made all the arrangements, on my first meeting with the Aliyah department I was booked on a flight on 28 Dec 2009.
It was such a smooth easy process that I just knew it was the right choice.
My mom always told me that if life is a struggle you are on the wrong path.
When things just fall into place, you know you have made the right choice.

It has been a hard time for me with lots of ups and downs but in my heart I know I am doing the right thing.

This is how I solved my puzzle.

Trust in myself was the biggest lesson I learned here.
Finding that place of calm was the answer for me.

Check out my set, Rubicks Cube and see how I solve my puzzle in the form of pictures shot by the talented Miss Talamia.

Some people are just users. You exist when you're necessary, and don't exist otherwise. I think that's the crux of it. Perhaps disappointing to be learning that only just now.

So glad to hear you found that peace. That feeling of knowing. Best feeling in the world! And the freedom of starting somewhere else, but with good people around you and a feeling fo already belonging there...

Sounds just right!

Did you shoot the set in reverse to make rubik´s cube be all solved at the end? Or can you actually do it? smile Gorgeous set, hun!

That's a nice story. It is inspiring. There really is a light at the end of the tunnel. I hope I find my own "Tel Aviv" one day.
